The NCHMCT JEE eligibility criteria are based on various aspects, i.e. Age Limit, Qualifying examinations, and Physical Fitness.
Below is the detailed eligibility criteria:
You should have passed the 10+2 system of Senior Secondary Examination or its equivalent with English as one of the subjects from a recognised Educational Board. Must have passed English as a subject of study (core/elective/functional) in the qualifying examination.
If you are appearing in the 10+2 or equivalent examination, you can also appear in NCHM JEE 2027 on a provisional basis. Provisional admission will stand cancelled if proof of having passed the qualifying examination (10+2 or its equivalent) is not submitted at the time of NCHMCT JEE counselling or at the time of admission.
The offer of admission is subject to verification of original certificates/documents, including category certificate and PwD certificate (wherever applicable) at the time of admission.
If any candidate is found ineligible at a later date, even after admission to an Institute, due to the inability to produce a genuine certificate in original in support of passing 10+2 or equivalent examination and fulfilment of age criteria and category certificate or PwD certificate (wherever applicable), his/her admission will stand cancelled.

Your NCHMCT JEE journey doesn't end at registration. Here's what to expect at each stage after you submit your application:
After the registration deadline, NTA typically opens a Form Correction Window (usually for 2–3 days) that allows candidates to edit certain details — such as exam city preference, photo, or personal details. Watch for this on the NTA portal.
Approximately 2–3 weeks before the exam, NTA releases a City Intimation Slip informing you of your exam city. This helps you plan travel and accommodation in advance.
The admit card is released about 7–10 days before the exam date on exams.nta.nic.in/nchm-jee. Steps to download:
⚠️ Carry your admit card + a valid photo ID (Aadhaar / PAN / Passport / Driving Licence) to the exam centre.
Results are declared on the official website in May (tentatively). A scorecard is available for download. The merit list is compiled based on scores.
Conducted by NCHMCT (not NTA), counselling is held in June–July. Seat allotment is based on rank, preference of institutes, and category. Candidates must verify original documents at the time of admission.
Based on patterns from previous years, here are the most frequent errors that lead to form rejection or disqualification:
Entering a name different from the Class 10 certificate — always match exactly
Uploading a photo that doesn't meet specifications — wrong size, format, or no white background
Using someone else's mobile or email — OTPs and login credentials go to registered contact details
Not saving each section before moving ahead (data gets lost)
Paying the wrong fee amount based on incorrect category selection
Selecting only one exam centre — always fill all 4 preferences to avoid being allotted a distant city
Missing the form correction window — many candidates realise errors too late
Not downloading the Confirmation Page — this is your only proof of successful registration
