NMAT 2026 Exam Day Guideline-Dos

Although the NMAT exam admit card mentioned the details about the do’s and don’ts, here is the easy version of the essential instructions:

✅NMAT 2026 Admit Card/ NMAT Hall Ticket

The first document to carry on the NMAT exam day is the NMAT 2026 admit card. After registering for the test, candidates can download the Hall ticket from the official website.

Once you get your NMAT admit card, ensure to check the details whether they are correct or not like:

  • Your registration number
  • Your name
  • Time of test
  • NMAT centre details

After checking all the details, ensure that you keep the NMAT admit card in the bag the night before the exam to avoid a last-minute rush.

Ensure to Check the NMAT Test Centre Location Beforehand:

Since NMAT 2026 is conducted at various centres across the country, it is important to reach the mentioned centre beforehand.

You can check the test centre's location on Google Maps to see how long it takes to get there. This will also help you determine traffic status and available routes, and plan accordingly.

Without ID proof, you will not be allowed to enter the exam centre; thus, ensure that you keep it for the main day.

Avoid Carrying Electronic Gadgets

Candidates should not bring any electronic devices, such as calculators, smartwatches, smartphones, or Bluetooth devices, to the exam centre. If you accidentally bring one, it will be taken away at the entrance.

Keep Personal Belongings Inside Locker

Although it is best not to bring any expensive or valuable items to the centre except the ones mentioned, if you have bought them, you must store them or your personal belongings in the designated locker at the test centre.

Check the Seating Arrangement

Once you reach the NMAT exam centre, the next instruction is to look for your seating arrangement. Match your registration number to the allotted room, then proceed. The invigilators can even ask for the attendance sheet to mark, thus ensuring they do the same.

NMAT Exam Day Instructions: Post Check-In Tips to Follow

When a candidate enters the exam hall, the invigilator will guide them to their assigned computer.

On the screen, candidates will see a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). To start the test, they must click 'Yes, I Accept.' If they click 'No, I do not Accept,' they will not be able to take the exam that day and will lose their exam attempt and the exam fee.

Before the test starts, candidates should choose the order of the sections they prefer. They need to complete all questions in one section before the time runs out.

Each section’s responses will be submitted automatically when the time is up. Once the test begins, candidates cannot change the order of the sections.
