Step 1 

Candidates must register on the official website by clicking on 'Register for NMAT by GMAC™' on mba.com/nmat. Candidates are advised to create an account using a valid email ID, Mobile number, and address, as all further communication and exam-related details will be shared via this email.

Step 2

Candidates must fill in the remaining details under the dashboard 'Manage NMAT Profile' tab. 

Step 3 

  • Go to the official website mba.com/nmat.
  • Select the "NMAT by GMAC™ Dashboard" button on the page.
  • Visit the Candidate Dashboard. 

Step 4 

Candidates must complete the NMAT 2026 application form on the Candidate Dashboard.

Step 5 

After filling in their details, contact information, educational details, and work experience, candidates are directed to the School Preference section.

Each candidate can select up to 5 B-schools to which they want to send their NMAT scores for admission.

They can send score reports to additional colleges by paying INR 400/-, including applicable taxes, for each college selected beyond 5.

Step 6 

Submit the NMAT exam fees to complete the application. Once the final payments are submitted, the NMAT application process is complete.

Educational Qualifications

  • Candidates in their final year of graduation can also apply. However, their admission will be provisional until they submit their graduation mark sheet.
Work Experience

No minimum work experience is required to apply for the GMAC NMAT Exam. Thus, freshers can also apply for the NMAT Exam date.

However, 2-3 years of work experience gives a candidate an edge during the selection process.

Reservation Policy The GMAC follows no reservation policy; thus, the exam fee is the same for all. However, colleges that accept NMAT scores might admit based on reservation policies.
