NMAT Marking Scheme 2024: Important Changes in the Exam Pattern

The NMAT exam format has undergone some significant changes. The total number of questions has been reduced from 120 to 108, and each of the three exam sections now contains 36 multiple-choice questions (MCQs).

Furthermore, the time given for the Language Skills section has been increased from 22 to 28 minutes, and for the Logical Reasoning section, it has been raised from 38 to 40 minutes. On the other hand, the time allotted to the Quantitative Skills section has been reduced from 60 to 52 minutes.

NMAT Marking Scheme 2024 

GMAC designs the NMAT Exam marking scheme and syllabus each year. The syllabus comprises 108 questions and three sections.

The NMAT exam is a computer-based test that you can complete online. It is tested in English via a series of multiple-choice and objective questions.

You receive no marks for unanswered questions, and with no negative marking in the exam, there is no punishment for a wrong answer. A correct answer is worth 3 marks.

The exam lasts two hours (120 minutes); you can choose the section in order. Each section of NMAT contains several topics and subtopics that you must prepare for.
