What is the NMAT Exam?

NMAT Eligibility 2024 

The NMAT eligibility criteria vary based on the admission criteria of different B-Schools. Some fundamental parameters are listed below for your reference:

  • To satisfy the NMAT exam eligibility criteria, a 3-year bachelor's degree in any discipline is required.
  • Graduation marks should meet the minimum percentage or equivalent CGPA requirements of the MBA college accepting NMAT Scores.
  • Candidates still in their final year of graduation can apply but must provide a passing certificate at admission.
  • Those who have completed a professional degree or are awaiting results can apply.
  • Age is not a factor for candidates applying for NMAT by GMACTM.
  • Meeting the minimum eligibility criteria for NMAT exam does not guarantee consideration for shortlisting by the B-School applied to.

MBA Pharmaceutical Management, Mumbai The selection process A Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Medical Technology & Biotechnology, MBBS, BHMS, BDS, BAMS, Food Nutrition and Dietetics, Pharmaceutical and Fine Chemicals Technology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Microbiology, Bioengineering, Biochemistry, B.Tech. Bio-Tech. / Bio-Medical or B.E. Bio-Tech. / Bio-Medical from a recognised University with a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate.
If you work in Pharmaceutical Companies or have work experience in the healthcare sector, you can also apply, provided that you meet the above qualification criteria.
MBA Digital Transformation, Mumbai Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Any stream) / B.Sc. (IT)/ MCA / B.Sc. (Electronics) / B.Sc. (Computer Science) / B.Sc. (Maths) / B.Sc. (Physics) / Any other graduate degree with Mathematics as a mandatory subject.
The minimum pass mark is 50% in aggregate. Besides, a minimum of two years of industry experience is desirable.
MBA Business Analytics Applicants shall have a Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, or Commerce with a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate.
Two years of minimum industry experience is desirable. Mathematics/Statistics is a compulsory subject.

NOTE:

  • According to a notification by the University Grants Commission (UGC) dated October 14th, 2013, the degrees, diplomas, and certificates awarded by the Open and Distance Learning (ODL) institutions that are recognised by the Distance Education Council (DEC) and UGC should be considered equivalent to the corresponding traditional university awards.
  • Additionally, candidates from universities outside India must obtain an AIU certificate.

Besides the aforementioned NMAT eligibility criteria, given below are some basic parameters that all the aspiring candidates who want to grab a seat in NMIMS must satisfy:

  • All candidates applying for full-time programs must have completed their Bachelor's Degree with the stipulated aggregate marks. They must also produce original documents within a specified period.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with two or more years of work experience.
  • Candidates must have completed all exams before the program's commencement and achieved the minimum aggregate marks. Candidates' candidature shall be considered subject to NMIMS (Deemed to be University) discretion if their graduating University schedules the final year/trimester/semester examination/s (as applicable) during or after the commencement of the respective program.
  • At admission, the candidate's mark sheets and the equivalent percentage of the GPA/CGPA, if applicable, must be produced.
  • All submitted documents are verified during the final admission process, and the candidate is solely responsible for ascertaining whether they possess the necessary qualifications for admission to NMIMS.

  • International Students must have a bachelor’s degree from a certified educational institution in any domain.
  • It is essential to score at least 50% marks in the aggregate.

  1. Click the 'Register for NMAT by GMAC™' button and create an account using a valid email address.
  2. Fill in all the required details under the 'Manage NMAT Profile' section.
  3. Look for a verification email in your inbox and follow the instructions to verify your mba.com account. Do not forget to check your junk or spam folders if you don't see the email in your inbox. You can also log in to your account and click the 'Resend Email Verification' button.
  4. Log in to your mba.com account and go to the 'My Account' page. From there, access the 'Candidate Dashboard'.
  5. Fill out the application form in the 'Candidate Dashboard'. Ensure that your birth date and name match precisely with those on your Photo ID.
  6. Select up to 5 schools to which you want your scores to be sent. You can also send your scores to additional schools for an extra fee.
  7. Upload a photograph that closely resembles you and the photograph on your Photo ID. This image will be included on your admit card.
  8. Finally, pay the NMAT exam registration fees to complete your registration process.
