    What is the Eligibility Criteria for FCI?

    Application for the FCI Recruitment will be subject to various Eligibility Criteria as mentioned below. Applicants must know the Age limit and Educational qualification for different posts before applying for the various posts in FCI Recruitment 2019.

    JE (Civil Engineering) 28 Degree in Civil Engineering OR Diploma in Civil Engineering with one year experience.
    JE (Electrical, Mechanical Engineering) 28 Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with one year experience in the case of Diploma holders only.
    Steno Grade - II 25 Graduate along with ‘O’ level qualification of DOEACC and speed of 40 wpm and 80 wpm in typing and shorthand respectively OR Degree in Computer Science/ Computer Application with a speed of 40 wpm and 80 wpm in typing and shorthand respectively.
    AG-II (Hindi) 28 Essential A degree of a recognized University with Hindi as the main subject. Proficiency in English. One year experience of translation from English to Hindi and vice-versa. Desirable Post Graduate qualification in Hindi
    Typist (Hindi) 25 Graduation or equivalent. 30 wpm speed in Hindi Typing. Preference will be given to the candidates knowing bilingual typing (English and Hindi) and Computer Knowledge.
    AG – III (General) 27 Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized University with proficiency in the use of computers.
    AG – III (Accounts) 27 Bachelors of Commerce from a recognized University with proficiency in the use of computers.
    AG – III (Technician) 27 B.Sc in Agriculture from a recognized University OR B.Sc with any of the following subject from a recognized University: Botany/ Zoology / Bio-Technology/ Bio-Chemistry/ Microbiology/ Food Science.     FCI Exam Pattern

    The online tests for FCI Recruitment will comprise Phase I & Phase II exams. Phase I exam will be common for all the posts whereas the exam pattern for phase II exam will vary according to various posts.     Document Verification – FCI Recruitment 2019

    • However, Applicants who will clear both online test and Skill test will be called for Document Verification stage as the next stage of the selection process.
    • The total number who will be called for Document Verification will roughly be three times the number of advertised Vacancies.

Lab tests, moisture content, bearing capacity of soils, plate load test, standard penetration test, etc. Estimating, Costing and Valuation: Estimate, analysis of rates, earthwork, Brick, RCC work shuttering, Painting, Flooring, Plastering flexible pavements, Tube well, isolates and combined footings, Steel Truss, Piles, etc. Transportation Engineering: Types of pavements, pavement materials - aggregates and bitumen, Design of flexible and rigid pavements, bituminous construction, rigid pavement joint, pavement maintenance, Railway Engineering. Environmental Engineering: Quality of water, purification, distribution, sanitation, sewerage and sewage treatments.
