XAT Exam Results 2026: Steps to Raise Objections

Once the candidates analyse their response sheet, they can raise objections before releasing the final answer key and before the XAT exam results date if they believe that the answer in the provisional key provided by the official authority is incorrect.

They need to follow the steps given below:

Step 3	Click on the “Raise Objection Tab”
Step 4	Entered the required details like question paper ID, question ID, etc.
Step 5	Upload the document with the correct information and the proof of explanation.
Step 6	Pay the required fee for raising the objection
Step 7	Click on the submit button.

Note* Candidates should remember that they can raise objections only until the predefined time before the XAT exam result date given by the exam conducting authorities. Such requests won't be entertained after the release of the final answer sheet and XAT results.

The XAT Exam Results 2026: The XAT Selection Process

The Selection Process based on the XAT result starts after the results are announced. The selection process is almost similar to that of the CAT exam 2024.

• XLRI does not offer unified counselling.
• Institutes that accept XAT scores handle counselling differently, depending on their selection criteria.
• The selection process consists of multiple rounds of Group Discussion (GD), Group Exercise (GE), and Personal Interview (PI).
• Those who clear the cut-off for their respective institute advance to the other rounds of GD-PI.
• At some institutes, the final merit list is prepared by adding the scores from the GK sections, while at others it isn’t.
• However, until now, the Essay section scores have been considered only by XLRI and no other institute.

The XAT Exam Results: XLRI Cut-Off for 2026 (Expected)

XLRI Jamshedpur offers two programs for applicants: PGDM-Business Management (PGDM-BM) and PGDM-Human Resource Management (PGDM-HRM), while XLRI Delhi NCR currently offers only PGDM(BM).
