Eligibility Criteria for XAT Exam 

Here are the key points that candidates must note before applying for the XAT exam:

Nationality  Indian; students from abroad may apply to XLRI courses through GMAT scores.

The eligibility criteria for domestic candidates to apply for the MBA/PGDM 2024-26 batch requires them to appear in the mandatory XAT exam for admission to member and associate B-schools in India. 

However, XAT entrance exam eligibility is more relaxed for NRIs and foreign candidates, who can apply using XAT exam eligibility is more relaxed for NRI and foreign candidates as they can apply through their valid GMAT scores.

How do you fill out XAT Application Form? 

STEP 1: Register for XAT  

  • Open https://xatonline.in/ 
  • Click 'Registration' and enter your details and captcha code.
  • Verify your email to receive a unique XAT ID and registration link.
  • Click the link to confirm registration. 

STEP 2: Follow these steps after verifying your XAT registration to submit the XAT application form. 

Please follow the steps below to submit your application for XAT: 

  1. Go to the XAT website homepage.
  2. Click on the 'login' button.
  3. Enter your email ID and password to log in.
  4. The XAT application form will be displayed.
  5. Fill in all the required details on the form.
  6. Double-check all the information you have entered before saving it.
  7. Choose your preferred payment method - credit/debit card, UPI, or net banking - to pay the application fee.

Documents Required for XAT Registration 

You'll need to submit the following documents: 

  1. Class 10, 12 and graduation mark sheets
  2. Email ID, mobile number, and address proof
  3. Date of birth proof and Aadhaar card
  4. Category certificate (if applicable)
  5. A scanned photo and signature in JPG or JPEG format (20 KB-50 KB)
  6. Debit/credit card for application fee payment.

STEP 3: Payment of XAT Application Fee 

Payment can be made using debit cards (Visa, Mastercard), credit cards, Internet banking, IMPS, cash cards, and mobile wallets.

The XAT exam consists of two time-bound parts.

Part 1 consists of 3 sections: Ability & Logical Reasoning, Decision Making and Quantitative Aptitude & Data Interpretation. 

Part 2 consists of General Knowledge and Essay.

The exam pattern for the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) is given below:
