The Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation part of the XAT exam syllabus is dominated by Arithmetic and Algebra, followed by Geometry and Data Interpretation sets. The level is generally moderate but time-consuming if you are not clear with basics.

• Arithmetic: Percentages, profit and loss, simple and compound interest, ratio and proportion, averages, mixtures and alligation, time, speed and distance, and time and work.
