What is XAT exam?
- Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) is an all-India level management entrance examination to get into the prestigious Xavier School of Management (XLRI) and various other associated management institutes.
- It is necessary for you to clear the XAT admission criteria for XAT to XLRI and other b-schools.
- XLRI through XAT may consider other factors besides XAT score like XAT admission criteria, academic background, relevant work experience, extra-curricular activities, academic background, etc.
- XLRI's XAT admission offer 600 seats for PGDM in Business Management (BM) and Human Resources (HR), and 120 seats for the Executive PGDM program.

- If you are an Indian candidate applying for XAT admission, then you will have to apply through XAT for 2025 and clear XAT admission criteria.
- If you are a NRI or foreign national, then you can apply through either of the XAT or GMAT.
- You will have to submit your XAT application through the official online portal https://xatonline.in/.

XAT Admission Registration Process for 2025
The XAT exam date and the notification for 2025 will be released by XLRI (Xavier School of Management) with its XAT admission criteria for PGDM courses in India.
Here are the steps you need to follow to qualify for admission:
- Check whether you are fulfilling all the XAT admission criteria.
- Visit the official website of XLRI & fill out the XAT online application form.
- Upload the relevant documents such as graduation certificates, identity proofs, and other documents as notified. The candidate is supposed to upload a photo, signature and ID proof. Click on the declaration and verify the details thoroughly before submitting the application form.
- Pay the XAT registration fee or XAT admission fees using online payment modes.
- Receive the XAT exam Admit Card and take the printout for future reference. Candidates may download the XAT exam admit card from www.xatonline.in.
- Appear to the center on your scheduled exam date.
- After the exam is over, keep track of the updates provided by XLRI for the XAT exam results. Visit the official website for more updates after the XAT exam date.
- Qualified candidates must attend the Group Discussion/Personal Interview round. The Group Discussion/Personal Interview round is a key component of any recruitment or selection process.
