Detailed Review of CUET Geography Question Paper
The CUET Geography Exam for 2024 introduced a noticeable shift towards facts-and-figures-based questions, akin to the trend observed in the Economics domain of the Humanities stream. This change rendered the 2024 Geography exam moderately challenging, requiring students to recall a substantial amount of detailed information.
Approximately 23 questions were centred on factual content, a significant increase that tested students' memory and quick recall abilities.
As in previous years, the NTA included 10 case study-based questions, maintaining consistency in this aspect of the Geography CUET exam. These questions continued to evaluate students' ability to apply theoretical knowledge to practical scenarios, ensuring a balanced assessment of their analytical skills.
The chapter "The Manufacturing Industries and Geographical Perspective on Selected Issues and Problems" received the highest weightage this year.
In summary, the CUET Geography Exam 2024 balanced factual recall with practical application, challenging students with more facts and figures-based questions while maintaining a steady emphasis on case studies and critical topics.

DAY 2 [May 16, 2024]: CUET 2024 Analysis for Economics [Shift 1A]
The Economics exam pattern consisted of 50 questions, of which 40 were required to be attempted. Here's the CUET UG Exam Analysis 2024 for Economics:
In Economics this time, around 20-25 questions were definition-based and concept-based, and it was observed that the weightage of numerical-based questions was relatively low.
As usual, 10 questions were presented as a case study. The NTA wants students to apply economic concepts to real-world scenarios to demonstrate their practical understanding of the subject.
The chapter "Current Challenges Facing India's Economy" had the highest weightage. This focus reflected the relevance of contemporary economic issues and required students to be well-versed in current affairs and the country's ongoing economic challenges.
Below is the CUET exam analysis by experts conducted during this shift. The expected CUET answer key 2024 will be shared shortly. Stay tuned for CUET UG 2024 Live Exam Updates.

Detailed Review of CUET Economics Paper and Expected Cut-Off 2024
Only a few questions were based on National Income this time, despite it being an important topic from a CUET perspective.
No questions on assertion-reason were present in 2024's CUET Economics exam, while they were present last year. However, the exam included statement-based questions.
The highlight of theCUET 2024 exam's Economic Exam was the maximum number of questions based on facts and figures.
Paragraph-based questions were relatively easy this time.
Overall, there was greater emphasis on Indian Economics than on Macroeconomics.
From the CUET 2024 analysis, it is clear that only 7-8 questions were drawn from the deleted chapters out of the 4/5 chapters, so the weightage of deleted topics was also lower here.
More questions were asked from Microeconomics in the CUET 2024 Economics question paper.
There were more theory-based questions.
The exam's difficulty level was higher than that of the board exam.
The exam was easy to moderate, according to student reactions.
The paper this time was quite different from the previous CUET exam. The pattern has been changed in the 2024 Economics CUET paper, and as a result, questions were confusing for students to interpret and resolve.
Some questions on economics-related terms were asked, which many reported as being out of the syllabus. As a matter of fact, although these were not technically in the NCERTs, this is a valid concern raised after CUET's Shift 1A expected answer key was listed. This is important for CUET 2025 students to note.
There were almost no numerical questions in the CUET 2024 Economics exam, which was highly unexpected, since 2023 and 2022 contained many quantitative questions.
The positive thing about CUET is that you can leave up to 10 questions. With the right question selection and close to 100% accuracy in each question attempt, solving 38-40 questions in the CUET exam for Economics would be enough for a good score.
The new typology and question format per the CUET UG Exam Analysis 2024 are likely to lead to a higher cutoff than in previous years.
DAY 1: CUET UG Exam Analysis 2024 for General Test [Shift 2B]
The General Test pattern consisted of 60 questions, out of which 50 were required to be attempted. Here is what students have reported about the CUET exam:

Learning for Next Year's Exam
The National Testing Agency impressively incorporated around 25 questions from GK & Current Affairs in Shift 2B's CUET exam. This has happened for the first time in the General Test. Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude shared the remaining portion of the CUET 2024 General Test paper.
The Current Affairs section of the exam contained 12 questions, which translates to a substantial 60 marks, a significant increase compared to the previous year.
Additionally, one or two questions in the reasoning and quantitative ability sections of the offline General Test exam for CUET were quite intricate and tricky. The examiner seems to have intended for students to spend some time solving these questions.
Learning from CUET 2025 students: Since NTA does not provide detailed syllabi for the general test, all candidates preparing for upcoming exams should give equal weight to all three sections: Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, and GK & Current Affairs during their preparation.
