Overview: Know everything about CUET Hindi Language question papers, exam pattern, syllabus, study plan, common mistakes & mock test strategy for 2027.

CUET Hindi Question Paper is one of the highest-scoring language papers if you prepare the right way but only if you know exactly what's changed for 2027–27.

NTA has made two major updates that directly affect how you should prepare: all 50 questions are now compulsory (no more choosing 40 out of 50), and the exam is now Computer-Based Test (CBT) only.

This guide covers the current official pattern, previous year papers, a faculty-designed study plan, common mistakes, and a mock-test strategy — not just a syllabus list.

What Changed for CUET Hindi in 2027?

Per the official NTA CUET(UG) 2027 Information Bulletin and syllabus notification (cuet.nta.nic.in):

  • No optional questions. Earlier, candidates could attempt 40 out of 50 questions. From 2027 onward, all 50 questions in every subject, including Hindi, are compulsory. There is no choice — you cannot skip a section you're weak in.

  • CBT mode only. CUET UG is now conducted exclusively as a Computer-Based Test across all subjects.

  • Subject limit reduced. Candidates can now choose a maximum of 5 subjects (down from 6 in earlier cycles).

  • Total subjects trimmed. NTA has reduced the overall list of CUET UG subjects from 63 to 37 (13 languages + 23 domain subjects + General Aptitude Test).

What this means for your Hindi prep: since every question counts and there's no skipping, you can no longer "hide" a weak area (eyg. मुहावरे or पर्यायवाची) by choosing not to attempt those questions. Full-syllabus mastery is now non-negotiable.
