NIFT Stage 2 Situation Test: interview to be Held Today

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting the stage 2 situation test for admissions into the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) today.

The studio test, scenario test, personal interview, and technical ability are required for admission into their Bachelor of Design and Fashion Technology programs. The scenario and studio test will occur from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., and the interviews will begin at 2 p.m.

NIFT Situation Test Stage 2 2024

The NTA conducts the situation test for NIFT admissions to evaluate a candidate's aptitude for managing materials and creativity while working with different materials. 

Candidates have to make a model, implement space visualisation and make inventive and creative use of the provided materials. This test will evaluate the model based on building expertise, model elegance, element composition, colour scheme, and overall presentation.

Candidates must also write an article outlining the thought process and concepts they made during the design process.

NIFT Personal Interview for Admissions 2024

After completing the situation test, candidates who have been shortlisted will be scheduled for a personal interview used to assess the following NIFT admissions criteria -

• Course Aptness
• Overall Achievements in Academics
• Cocurricular Activities
• General Awareness
• Communication
• Aptitude

Once the interviews are over, students will be chosen based on their CAT (50%), GAT (30%), and Scenario and Interview (20%) for admission into NIFT in 2024.
