FCI Eligibility Criteria 2020

Application for the FCI will be subject to various Eligibility Criteria as mentioned below. As per the FCI Notification 2020, applicants must know the Age limit and Educational qualification for different posts before applying for the various posts. As per the notification, there will be separate eligibility criteria for the JE post and Manager post.

FCI JE Eligibility criteria

Candidates who are applying for JE post must check the below-mentioned eligibility criteria before filling the application form.

• Candidate's age should be in between 18 to 28 years to apply for the FCI Post.
• A candidate must have a Graduate Degree from a recognized University/ Institute or Diploma Equivalent.
• Candidates belonging to SC/ ST /OBC/PWD/ PH aspirants are given age relaxation as per the Government Rule Regulation.

FCI Exam Pattern 2020

As per the notification 2020, the online tests will comprise Phase I & Phase II exams. Phase I exam will be common for all the posts whereas the exam pattern for the phase II exam will vary according to various posts. Below, we have mentioned the FCI Exam Pattern for both- Phase I & Phase II as per the FCI Notification 2020. 

Phase I

For Prelims Exam (Phase 1) there are 3 sections- English Language, Reasoning Ability, and Numerical Aptitude. There will be a penalty of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer from the correct one. A total of 100 questions will be asked for 1 mark each. The time duration for the exam is 60 Minutes (1 Hour). Marks obtained in the phase I exam will not be included while making final merit ranking. Subjects included in Paper 1 are Reasoning/ General Intelligence, English Language, Computer Proficiency, General Awareness, Current Events, data Analysis/ Numerical Ability/ Data Interpretation. Phase II

Mains Exam (Phase 2) has different Papers (I, II, III & IV) conduct on the basis of the post applied by the candidates. All Paper (I, II, III & IV) has a total of 120 questions for 1 mark each. The time duration of Paper-II is of 60 Minutes (1 Hour) and the Paper I, II & III are for 90 Minutes (1 Hour, 30 Minutes). The exam will be both Objective and Descriptive. Paper-II (Duration – 90 Minutes).The subjects included are Civil engineering, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering (relevant stream). For Stenographer (Grade II) (Post Code - C)

• Candidates who will apply for the Post of Hindi Typist have to give Paper V in Phase II for Online Test.
• The candidates have to g through the Skill Test in typing and shorthand which is qualifying in nature, which will be in English.

• Candidates successfully clearing all the stages of the exam will be eligible for Document Verification and receiving an appointment.

FCI Cut Off 2020 

The examination Conducting authority decides a cut off mark that filters candidates for the next stage of the exam. Candidates must score the minimum FCI Cut Off marks set by the authorities in order to select for the next stage of the exam.

• Food Corporation of India (FCI) will conclude the cut off on the basis of Online Exam.
• The Cut Off of the exam will be calculated on the basis of the performance of the student, difficulty level of the questions, and the number of vacancies.
• On the basis of the cutoff, candidates have to obtain more than or equal to the mentioned cut off will be shortlisted to appear in Interview.
• After the interview, the conducting authority will prepare the FCI final cut off of the exam.
