The UGC NET June 2026 application process began on 29 April 2026 and will remain open until 20 May 2026 (11:50 PM). Candidates must also complete the fee payment by 20 May 2026. The application correction window will be available from 22 May to 24 May 2026. The official information bulletin confirms that the examination will be conducted from 22 June to 30 June 2026 in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode across designated exam centres in India.

Step 3 – Uploading Scanned Documents: 

• The supported format of the UGC NET image and signature is JPG/JPEG. 
• Photographs should be taken with a white background, and there is no need for them to be attested.
• The signature must be put in running handwriting with a black pen on white paper and then scanned and uploaded.
• Upload scanned images of the following:
