Overview- The Rajasthan High Court has officially announced the Rajasthan Judicial Service (RJS) Examination 2026, opening 44 vacancies for the position of Civil Judge and Judicial Magistrate. This presents a significant opportunity for law graduates aiming to serve in the esteemed Rajasthan judiciary.

Rajasthan Judiciary Vacancy 2026

New Vacancies for the Rajasthan civil judge post for 2026 will be released soon. Last year, the High Court reserved two posts of Rajasthan Civil Judge for Specially Abled Persons with Benchmark Disability under the following categories:

  • One post is reserved for persons with blindness and low vision
  • One post is reserved for deaf and hard-of-hearing persons

Before proceeding with the Application form for the Rajasthan Judiciary Exam, it is essential to check how many vacancies are released for each category.

As per the Rajasthan Civil Judge Eligibility Criteria, your minimum age should not exceed 21 years, and the maximum age should be 40 years or below when filling out the application form.

Additionally, positions are reserved for candidates with benchmark disabilities:

  •  for locomotor disabilities, including cerebral palsy, leprosy cured, dwarfism, acid attack victims, and muscular dystrophy.
  •  for autism, intellectual disability, specific learning disability, mental illness, and multiple disabilities, including deaf-blindness.

Application Process: Interested candidates can apply online through the official Rajasthan High Court website starting. Ensure all eligibility criteria are met before applying. The application process includes filling out personal and educational details, uploading necessary documents, and paying the application fee.

Application Fees:

  • General/OBC-CL/MBC-CL and applicants from other states: ₹1,500
  • OBC-NCL/MBC-NCL/EWS (Rajasthan state): ₹1,250
  • SC/ST/Ex-servicemen (Rajasthan state): ₹800
  • Persons with Benchmark Disabilities: Exempted from fee

Note - (i) Candidates of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Other Backward Classes and Economically Weaker Sections categories belonging to the States other than Rajasthan shall be treated as candidates of the General category.

(ii) Candidates of Reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS) selected against the General category must have all required eligibilities as candidates of the General category.
