Age Limit for Rajasthan Judiciary Eligibility 2023

According to the Rajasthan Judicial Services Eligibility, your minimum age should be 21 years as of 01.01.2023.
However, there is an upper age limit of 40 years as of 01.01.2023, beyond which you cannot apply.
Rajasthan High Court provides age relaxation in the Rajasthan Judiciary Exam if you belong to the SC, ST, OBC, or EWS Category of Rajasthan or woman and physically handicapped categories. However, age relaxation differs depending on your category.

To apply for the Rajasthan Judicial Services Exam, you must hold a Bachelor of Laws (Professional) from any university established by Law in India.

You shall be appointed as a member of the Service unless you are in good mental and physical health and free from any defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of your duties as a member of the Service.

Rules for Disqualification in the Rajasthan Civil Judge Exam
You shall be disqualified for appointment to the service or for continuing in the service:-
If you have more than one spouse living.
If you have been dismissed or removed from service by any High Court, Government Statutory Body or local authority.
If you were or have been convicted of an offence involving moral turpitude.
If you were or are convicted for any offence involving moral turpitude) or have been permanently debarred or disqualified by a High Court, the Union Public Service Commission, or a State Public Service Commission from appearing in any examination or interview).
If you have, while being an advocate, been found guilty of professional misconduct under the provisions of the Advocates Act, 1961 (Central Act 25 of 1961) or any other law for the time being in force.
If you have more than two children on/after the commencement date of the Rajasthan Judicial Service Rules, 2010.

Minimum Marks Eligibility for Rajasthan Civil Judge Mains 2023
In accordance with the Rajasthan Civil Judge Exam Pattern, you must score a minimum of 45% marks in the preliminary examination if you belong to the general category to qualify for the main exam.
For the SC/ ST category, the minimum percentage of marks required is 40%.
If you belong to the general category, you must secure 35% marks in each law paper and 40% in aggregate in the Main Examination to qualify for the interview.
You must secure a minimum of 30% marks in each law paper and 35% in aggregate in the Main Examination if you belong to the SC/ST category.
It shall be compulsory to appear in each and every paper of the written test, as well as before the interview Board for viva voce. A candidate who has failed to appear in any written papers or before the board for viva voce shall not be recommended for appointment.
