Overview: The CUET UG answer key 2026 is released by NTA after the exam in CBT (computer-based test) mode. Candidates can use the provisional answer key to estimate their score, and can also raise objections (if the objection window is open). After evaluating the challenges, NTA publishes the final answer key, and the result is prepared based on the final key.
The CUET UG 2026 Provisional Answer Key was officially released by NTA on 9 June 2026.
Candidates can access the answer key, question papers, and recorded responses through the official CUET website.
CUET UG 2026 was conducted from 11-31 May 2026 and 6-7 June 2026 in CBT mode across India and abroad.
A total of 15,68,867 candidates registered for the CUET UG 2026 examination.
Candidates can raise objections against the provisional answer key from 9 June to 11 June 2026 (up to 10:00 PM).
The answer key challenge fee is ₹200 per question, payable online through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
Supporting documents must be uploaded in a single PDF file while submitting challenges.
After expert review, valid objections will lead to revisions in the final answer key, and the CUET UG 2026 result will be prepared based on the revised Final Answer Key.

NTA has released the final CUET answer key on its official website as of 1st July 2026.
The official notification regarding the CUET marking scheme indicates a negative marking in the entrance exam.

Using the CUET UG answer key, you can calculate your scores based on the following points:
Verify your answers once the provisional answer key for the CUET exam is released. If there's any discrepancy, report it to the authorities, keeping in mind the following points:
You can challenge the Provisional Answer Keys with a non-refundable online payment of ₹200/-per question, challenged as processing charges.
Only paid challenges made during the stipulated time through the key challenge links will be considered.
Challenges without justification/evidence and those filed on any medium other than the prescribed link will not be considered.
The subject experts will examine all the challenges received, and then a final CUET 2026 answer key will be displayed and declared.
NTA will not inform the candidates individually about the outcome of the challenges made.
