Important Points to Note:

• Candidates who will be appearing in CUET entrance exam 2024 may participate in the CUET Exam Counselling/admission process of any University / Institution / Organization even though they have not applied for that University / Institution / Organization in the Online Application Form of CUET (UG) 2024. However, the candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria of the Course of the University / Institution / Organization to which they seek admission.
• Also, the University / Institution / Organization may admit any candidate who has appeared for CUET (UG) 2024, irrespective of the fact that the candidate has chosen that University / Institution / Organization in the online Application Form of CUET (UG) 2024. Moreover, the candidate must fulfil the eligibility criteria for the Course where the admission is being taken.

Steps Involved in CUET Counselling 2024

The test was formerly known as the Central Universities Common Admission Exam until 2021.

Through a CUET 2024 counselling session, candidates will be assigned seats in the universities/ institutes and courses of their choice. Each university/ institute will conduct its own CUET 2024 counselling process.

All qualified applicants who want to be accepted at one of the participating universities must complete the admission form on the institution's official website.

Lastly, candidates must bring the admission form to the relevant university or institute on the counselling day.

• The first step in this process is submitting the required details to the respective universities' admission portal. 
• You must give CUET results and other educational and personal documents. 
• If your documents are verified successfully, and your name appears in the CUET cut-off list, you will be called in for the CUET counselling process. 
• During the counselling process for CUET exam 2024, the applicants are required to provide all the necessary documents for verification. These documents include educational certificates, mark sheets, birth certificates, etc. 
• The applicants must also submit a copy of their passport-size photograph. The counselling process for CUET 2024 exam also involves a personal interview where the applicants are asked to answer questions about their academic background, interests, and career goals.
• Once the documents and the personal interview are completed, the applicants must pay the CUET exam counselling fee. The CUET exam fee varies depending on the category of the applicant. The fees are non-refundable and must be paid in full in most CUET-participating colleges.

CUET 2024 Spot Counselling Process

The participating institutes will announce a CUET Spot Counselling based on the number of open seats.

By registering on the official websites of the CUET participating institutes, those who were not given a seat in the initial round of counselling can take part in the CUET spot counselling.

Such candidates will need to visit the institutes and have their documents confirmed by the admissions staff in order to participate in the CUET spot counselling rounds.

Important documents required for CUET counselling 2024

• Class 10 Marks Statement and Class 11/12 Marks Statement
• CUET Admit Card
• Transfer Certificate (TC) of Class 12
• Migration Certificate of Class 12
• One Stamp size and one passport-size photograph of a formal dress with a white background
• Two Copies of the Online Payment Receipt
• Copy of valid ID proof (Aadhar Card / Aadhar Enrolment Receipt / PAN Card / Voter ID Card).

Candidates falling under any of these categories (NRI / PIO / OCI / SAARC / AFRICA / ASEAN / OTHER FOREIGN NATIONALS) have to submit the following:

• PIO / OCI have to produce a copy of the PIO / OCI card, whichever is applicable
• Copy of Passport and Visa Details 
• Medical Fitness Certificate (MFC) from any recognized medical practitioner certified by the Medical Council of India and

Important instructions for CUET counselling 2024

• Carry all required documents, and check eligibility criteria and important dates related to CUET exams. 
• The system auto-generates the date and time for the selection/ counselling of CUET. Therefore, any request for changes will not be entertained.
• Candidates failing to appear for the selection process at the informed date and time will not be selected.
• All original Class 10 and Class 12 Degree Marks Cards (Students pursuing their final year studies must have the statement of marks up to the previous semester/ year) should be available for verification during the personal interview round.
