Total Number of Seats in IPMAT 2026

The candidates who pass the exam are selected based on the number of IPMAT seats available for the course. 

Every year, IIM Indore and IIM Rohtak conduct separate IPMAT exams, along with IIM Jammu and IIM Bodhgaya conducting JIPMAT. 

IIMs accepting IPMAT scores are responsible for announcing the number of seats prior to the admission process.

The number of seats for IPMAT does not change every year at IIM Indore, but for IIM Rohtak, the number of seats has increased from 165 to 198.

The seats in IPMAT are filled based on merit scores obtained in the entrance exam and the interview process and for some IIMs class 12th scores are also taken into account.
