RBI Assistant 2017 Exam Dates
You can apply for the post from 18th October to 10th November.
The preliminary exam will be held on 27th and 28th November and the Mains exam will be held on 20th December 2017 (tentative dates).
RBI Assistant Syllabus - RBI Assistant 2017 Exam Dates
Four broad topics constitute the RBI Assistant syllabus – English language and comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, and General Awareness. Additionally, some basic computer knowledge would help you in the RBI Assistant Mains exam.
Some important topics of English comprise of - cloze test, reading comprehension, spotting the error, vocabulary based questions.
Quantitative Aptitude syllabus comprises of the following important topics - data interpretation, inequalities, number series, approximation and simplification, data sufficiency, and arithmetic problem.
The following topics constitute the syllabus of Reasoning Ability – seating arrangement, puzzles, direction sense, blood relation, syllogism, order and ranking, coding and decoding, assumption and conclusion.
General Awareness constitutes of the following important topics – banking and financial awareness, static knowledge, current affairs, and Government schemes and policies

An RBI Assistant earns a basic salary of Rs.14,640 per month. The gross monthly salary would amount to around Rs.32,000 per month.
