The candidates interested in applying for the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) can apply with the UPTET Online Form which is due to be released on 1st November 2019. • According to the UPTET Eligibility Criteria, candidates who have a graduation degree can apply for the UPTET 2019 Examination. 
• The UPTET Online Form will be available from the second week of September 2019 on the official website. 
• Interested applicants will need to upload a scanned copy of their passport-sized photograph and signature while filling the UPTET Registeration form 2019.

Eligibility Criteria to apply for UPTET Application Form 

The UPTET Exam is conducted for both Primary and Upper primary teaching posts. The Eligibility criteria for both the posts are as follows:- 

UPTET Eligibility Criteria for Primary Teacher (Paper 1) 

The Eligibility criteria set for the primary teacher post is as follows:- 

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks from any government recognized university & 2 years Diploma (D.Ed) from N.C.T.E/ Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI). OR
• Bachelor’s degree & 2 years B.T.C., C.T. (Nursery)/ Nursery Teacher Training (NTT) OR
• Bachelor’s degree & qualification in Special B.T.C. Training OR
• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years & BCT Urdu special training in Uttar Pradesh OR
• Bachelor’s degree and Diploma in Teaching from Aligarh Muslim University (For Urdu Teacher) or Moallim-E-Urdu Degree before 11-08-1997. 

UPTET Eligibility Criteria for Upper Primary Teacher (Paper 2) 

Eligibility Criteria for Upper Primary Teacher is as follows:- 

• Bachelor’s degree & B.T.C from National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) approved institute OR
• Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks & B.Ed/ B.Ed Special Education from Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) OR
• Intermediate (10+2) with minimum 50% marks & 4 year B.A/ B.S.C.Ed/ B.A.Ed from N.C.T.E./ U.G.C recognized institute OR
• Intermediate (10+2) with minimum 50% marks & 4 year Degree (B.El.Ed) in Primary Education OR
• A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 45% scored & a B.Ed degree.

Age Limit for the UPTET 2019 Exam

The minimum age limit to apply for the UPTET exam is 18 years. Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test doesn’t have a maximum age limit. Any and all candidates who are above the age of 18 can apply for this exam.

How to Fill UPTET Online Form 2019?

The Direct link for UPTET Application Form will be updated once the form is released. Follow these steps to apply for the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test -

• Log on to the official website - www.upbasiceduboard.gov.in.
• Register on the website with your valid Email address and phone number.
• Click on the Notification for Recruitment and proceed to fill the application form.
• Upload your Documents: A scanned copy of your signature and a passport-sized photograph.
• Proceed to pay the Application Fee. The Fee payment can be done online and offline both. 
• Take a print out of the UPTET Application Form 2019 for future reference. 

What Details to fill in the UPTET Online Form 2019?

The following details have to be entered in the UPTET Application Form 2019:

• Name - Candidates need to enter their full name

• Gender- Candidates have an option to choose from Male, Female or Transgender.

• Category- Choose from General/OBC/SC/ST or more from the list given below. 

• Academic Details - All educational qualifications need to be mentioned in the UPTET Online Form. 

• Correspondence Details - Candidates are required to input their communication details: Valid mobile number & email address. 

 UPTET Application Fee 

The Application fee for various categories has been mentioned here

• Application fee for General Category is Rs 400/-
• Fee for OBC Candidates is Rs 400/-
• The Application Fee for SC/ST Candidates is Rs 200/-
• Physically challenged candidates are exempted from paying the fee. They can apply for the exam for free. 

UPTET Application Form Correction

If any incorrect information has been entered in the application form, there is a window to improve that. 

• The conducting body of the UPTET Exam, CBSE gives the candidates a window of 2-3 days to make corrections to the submitted application form. 
• UPTET Online Form Correction is expected to be active in the third week of September 2019.

How to Retrieve Forgotten UPTET Password?

Candidates can retrieve there forgotten UPTET password by following these steps-

• Visit the Official website - www.upbasiceduboard.gov.in.
• Click on the Login tab.
• Press the button that says “Forgot Password”
• Enter your Registered Mobile number or Email Address.
• You will receive a link to change your password. Click on the link and change your UPTET Login Password.
