Official Exam Date for SSC Scientific Assistant is expected to release in the month of July. We will update the post once the official notification is out on the official website of SSC. Last year, the exam was conducted from 20th to 27th November.
SSC Scientific Assistant Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidate should be a citizen of India or a subject of Nepal or Bhutan, a Tibetan refugee. Candidates should be a graduate in Science (with Physics as one of the subject)/ Computer Science/Information Technology/ Computer Applications OR Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from a recognized Institution/University or equivalent.

SSC Scientific Assistant Selection Process
Candidates will be selected based on online test. The exam will be conducted in two parts: Paper I and Paper II. Each paper will be of 100 marks and total duration will be of 2 hours or 120 minutes. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer in Paper I & II.
SSC Scientific Assistant Exam Pattern
Examination Pattern for SSC Scientific Assistant In IMD (As Per 2017):
The question paper had two parts, Part - I & Part - II. Both Part-I & Part-II are conducted for a duration of 2 hours. The SSC Scientific Assistant examination comprised 200 questions carrying 200 marks for two hours duration. It is a computer based examination.
