Before applying, you must carefully verify the following eligibility conditions for Bihar APO 2026.
Candidates must hold a Law degree (LLB) from a university recognized by the Bar Council of India. Fresh LLB graduates who meet all other eligibility conditions are eligible to apply.

The BPSC APO recruitment consists of 3 stages. Candidates must qualify all these stages to get selected.
This is an objective-type screening test consisting of two papers. It is qualifying in nature. Therefore, the marks scored here are not counted in the final merit list. Only candidates who clear the Prelims will be shortlisted for the Mains.
The Mains is a descriptive-type examination consisting of 7 papers. It tests a candidate's depth of legal knowledge, analytical thinking, and language proficiency. The marks secured in the Mains contribute to the final merit list.
Candidates who qualify the Mains are called for an Interview carrying 100 marks. It assesses personality, communication skills, legal knowledge, and overall suitability for the APO role.
Note: Final merit list will be prepared on the basis of combined marks obtained in the Mains Examination + Interview. Prelims marks are not included.
