There are three DU LLB institutes: CLC - Campus Law College, LC 1 - Law College 1, and LC 2 - Law College 2, with a total seat intake of 3320.
The final admissions are solely based on your performance in the entrance test, DU LLB rank, category, and choice of the institute.

DU LLB Colleges and Seats Allotment Procedure 2026
Admission will be based on the rank secured by you in the DU LLB 2026 Merit List..
Those assigned seats must apply for enrollment.
You will be required to present your original documents as part of the document verification procedure after applying for admissions.
DU LLB 2026 counsellingfor students in the General, EWS, ST, SC, OBC, and PWD categories shall be handled by the central university.
The authority will issue a counselling schedule, and you must report to the location with all relevant documentation.
If you fail to attend the counselling session in person when the schedule is announced, the seat will be assigned to another competent candidate.
After completing the admission process,you must submit the college course fee.
DU LLB Colleges and Seats: Application Form
You are eligible to apply for the admission process only if you get qualified in the entrance exam.
There will be a common DU LLB application form for admissions, NTA will process the common application form and carry out the joint seat allocation process.
The common application form will be available through the Admissions Portal. The link for the same shall be available on the official DU LLB 2026 website.
Applicants must fill in their credentials to login and select the institute of their choice by indicating the order of preference.

For the DU LLB 2026 counselling process, you are required to carry the following documents. Otherwise, the university will hold the authority to cancel your candidature.

Seat allocation will be based on the All India Rank (merit order), reservation category, and seat availability in each institute at the time of seat allocation.
You will be able to edit your application form, including the order of preference of institutes, and resubmit it, till the closing date of the application period.
However, after the closing date, all institute choices and information filled in the applications are treated as FINAL.
Requests for any changes in the application will not be entertained.
DU LLB Seat Allotment Rules 2026
Conducting body will schedule three rounds of seat allocation. However, once the seats are filled, the seat allocation process will be closed.
Seats will be provisionally allotted based on the applicant’s DU LLB 2026 rank, category, and choice of institutes. Selected candidates will be sent provisional allotment letters via their registered email.
Candidates with a higher rank than others would be given first preference when it comes to seat allocation.
The names of the successful candidates, as well as their marks, category rank, and other details, will appear on theDU LLB seat allotment list.
Shortlisted candidates must pay the course fee within the notice timeframe and report to the allotted centre according to the university's instructions.
If the selected candidates do not remit the seat acceptance fee before the given deadline or decline the admission, their application will be cancelled.
These vacant seats will be filled during the subsequent rounds of seat allotment.
