DU LLB 202 Counselling and Seat Allotment Procedure

Admission will be based on the rank secured by you in the DU LLB 2023 Merit List. After the declaration of results, you can register on the official website to participate in the counselling process for the DU LLB admissions.

• Those who have been assigned seats must apply for enrollment.
• After applying for admissions, you will be required to present original documents as part of the document verification procedure.
• On the basis of your entrance exam score, the university offers admission to 3320 LLB seats in three separate centers of the Faculty of Law.
• The authority will issue a counselling schedule, and you must report to the location with all relevant documentation.
• If you fail to attend the counselling session in person when the schedule is announced, the seat will be assigned to another competent candidate.
• After completing the counselling process, you must submit the college course fee.

Application Form

• Only those who will qualify for the entrance exam can apply for admission. 
• There will be a common application form for admission for the DU LLB Entrance Exam 2023; NTA will process the common application form and carry out the joint seat allocation process.
• The common application form will be available through the Admissions Portal.
• You must fill in your credentials to log in and select the institute of your choice by indicating the order of preference.

Supporting Documents

Those who will score above the DU LLB Cut-Off 2023 are eligible to appear for the counseling process.

For the DU LLB 2023 counselling, you are required to present the following documents for the admission procedure.

• E-admit card for DU LLB 2023
• Candidates DU LLB 2023 Rank Card or Merit Card
• Application form for DU LLB 2023
• Original 10th pass certificate and one copy of the same
• Original 12th pass certificate and one copy of the same

Updating Information

• Seat allocation will be based on the All India Rank (merit order), reservation category, and seat availability in each institute at the time of seat allocation. 
• Applicants will be able to edit their application form, including the order of preference of institutes, and resubmit it till the closing date of the application period. 
• However, all institute choices and information filled in the applications after the closing date are treated as FINAL. Requests for ANY changes in the application will be strictly NOT entertained.

DU LLB 2023 Counselling and Seat Allotment Rules

• Conducting body will schedule three rounds of seat allocation. However, once the seats are filled, the DU LLB seat allocation process will be closed. 
• Seats will be provisionally allotted based on the applicant’s DU LLB rank, category, and choice of institutes. Selected aspirants will be sent provisional allotment letters via registered email.
• Aspirants with a higher rank than others would be given first preference when it comes to seat allocation. 
• You must pay the course fee within the notice timeframe and report to the allotted centre according to the university's instructions.
• Your application will be canceled if you do not remit the seat acceptance fee before the deadline or decline the admission. 
• These vacant seats will be filled during the subsequent rounds of seat allotment.

Reporting at the allotted College after DU LLB 2023 Counselling 

After the completion of the DU LLB 2023 counselling and seat allotment process, you will have to visit the allotted college to complete all the admission formalities.

Your original documents will be verified in the college. If any discrepancy is found at the time of admission, then the admitting institute will reserve the right to cancel the admission of that candidate.
