CUET LLB Syllabus 2023: Everything You Need to Know

The Central University Entrance Test (CUET) is a national-level examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to various undergraduate, postgraduate and research programs offered by Central Universities across India.

One of the most popular programs offered through CUET is the 3-year LLB program. The CUET LLB exam is highly competitive and requires extensive preparation. 

CUET LLB Exam Pattern 2023 

Before delving into the syllabus, it is important to have a clear understanding of the exam pattern. The CUET LLB 2023 exam will be conducted in computer-based mode and will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions. The duration of the exam will be 2 hours and the maximum marks will be 400. For every correct answer, 4 marks will be awarded, while for every wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted.

Language Comprehension 

This section will test the candidate's language proficiency in English. The questions in this section will be designed to test the candidate's ability to read and comprehend passages, grammar, vocabulary, and sentence correction. The topics covered in this section include synonyms, antonyms, homonyms, word definitions, analogies, idioms and phrases, one-word substitution, sentence improvement and rearrangement, fill in the blanks, subject-verb agreement, noun/pronoun/articles and conjunction, grammatical errors - tense, voice, preposition usage, speech errors, correct spelling, and spotting errors. 

General Knowledge and Awareness 

This section will test the candidate's knowledge of current affairs, national and international events, politics, history, geography, economics, science and technology, environment and ecology, general science, and awards and achievements. 

Logical Reasoning and Verbal Ability 

This section will test the candidate's analytical and logical reasoning skills, as well as their verbal ability. The questions in this section will be designed to test the candidate's ability to evaluate arguments, analyze situations, and draw logical conclusions. The topics covered in this section include statement and assumptions, statement and conclusions, statement and arguments, statement and actions, assertion-reason, syllogism, number test, direction and distance test, coding and decoding, blood relationships, ranking, and analogy. 

Computer Basics 

This section will test the candidate's basic knowledge of computers and their applications. The topics covered in this section include computer applications and basics, word processing, Microsoft Excel, and using spreadsheets, and an introduction to the internet, the World Wide Web, and web browsers.

Preparation for the CUET LLB exam requires time, effort, and dedication. Here are some tips to help you prepare for the exam:
