It is a university-level exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). DU LLB Entrance Exam is conducted once every year in online mode.

DU LLB Eligibility Criteria 2020

Candidates will be offered admission for postgraduate law program only if he/she fulfills the eligibility criteria as prescribed by the Delhi University.

  • Candidates must have Graduated or have a post-graduation from any recognized University by UGC.
  • Candidates studying in final year qualifying degree are also eligible to appear for DU LLB.
  • Any candidate already pursuing LLB course from another university will not be considered for admission, until the candidate gets his/her admission canceled.

DU LLB Application Form 2020

The Delhi University will release the DU LLB Exam Application Form in the month of March 2020. Here is a glimpse of the Application process while you can refer to our detailed post on DU LLB Application Form 2020 to know in-depth information.

  • Candidates must remember that the application form can be filled only through online mode.
  • Also, the application fee must be paid through online mode only.
  • If any of the candidates is willing to apply for more than one course, then separate fees have to be paid for that course.
  • There are four stages involved in filling the application form for DU LLB Exam 2020 which includes Registration, Filling the form, Uploading of Documents, and Fee Payment. 

Part 1: Registration

  • Visit the official website
  • On the homepage, click on "New Registration"
  • Fill all the required details like Name, Date of Birth, Email ID, etc.
  • Once you have entered all the details click on Submit
  • Now, you will receive a User ID and password to your registered mail ID.

Part 2: Form Filling

  • Login to your account using the login credentials received after registration
  • On the new page, the application form appears.
  • Fill in all the required details carefully without making any mistake
  • There are various details asked like Personal details, Basic details, Educational Details, Communication Details, etc.

Part 3: Uploading of Documents

  • Upload all the necessary documents carefully.
  • Make sure to have all the documents ready well in advance.
  • Candidates must upload scanned documents like Passport size photograph, signature in jpg format.

Part 4: Fee Payment

  • This is the last stage in DU LLB Application process 2020. 
  • After you have completed the first three stages, you need to click on Make payment.
  • You can choose various Online payment options like Paying through Debit card, Credit Card, or Net banking.

DU LLB Admit Card 2020

Candidates who have filled the application form correctly will be able to download their DU LLB Admit Card through online mode. The board releases the hall ticket a week before the exam. Here are the steps to download your admit card correctly.

  • Visit the official website of DU LLB
  • On the homepage, click on the link "DU LLB 2019 Admit Card"
  • You will be redirected to the login page
  • Enter your User ID, Password and click on Submit
  • Your admit card will be shown on the screen. 
  • Download and take a print out of the same for future reference.

DU LLB Exam Pattern 2020

After you have completed the application process, start preparing yourself for the DU LLB 2020 Exam by going through the question paper pattern. Ensure to go through the detailed DU LLB Exam Pattern before beginning your preparation.

  • There are a total of four sections involved in the DU LLB examination which includes English Language, Analytical Abilities, Legal Awareness & Aptitude, General Knowledge.
  • The question paper includes a total of 100 MCQs
  • For each right answer, candidates will receive 4 marks while for wrong answer 1 mark is deducted.

DU LLB Exam Centres 2020

The National Testing Agency will conduct the DU LLB Exam in 18 different exam centres. Candidates will be given the choice to select their exam centers while filling the form. Candidates can select a maximum of three centres convenient to their place.

DU LLB Answer Key 2020

NTA will release a tentative answer key of DU LLB 2020 before the declaration of the result. Candidates can use this DU LLB Answer Key 2020 to check their responses made in the exam are correct or not.

  • Candidates will be able to calculate their scores and estimate the chances of admission into their desired college.
  • If any answer is wrong in the answer key, then candidates will have a chance to raise an objection against the answers.
  • Taking this into account, the board will release the official answer key on the official website. 

DU LLB Result 2020

National Testing Agency, the Exam conducting body will release the DU LLB Result 2020 on June 25, 2020, tentatively. The result will be released in PDF format on the official website. Follow the steps below to check and download your results.

  • Visit the official website
  • On the homepage, click on the link "DU LLB 2020 Result"
  • You will be redirected to the login page
  • Enter your login credentials and click on Submit
  • The result PDF will appear on the screen.
  • Use Ctrl+F to search your roll number.
  • Download and take a printout of the same for future reference.

DU LLB Merit List 2020

The exam conducting authority will also release the Merit list along with the Result in the third week of July 2020. The DU LLB Merit List will include the merit rank of the candidates in descending order. 

  • Based on the merit list, candidates will be shortlisted for counseling round
  • The merit list is also used for Seat Allotment.
  • Using the merit list, candidates can check their details like Name, Roll Number, Gender, Category, Marks obtained, and rank
  • Candidates must remember that the merit list is prepared based on the marks obtained by candidates.

DU LLB Counselling 2020

Delhi University will conduct the DU LLB Counselling for candidates who have shortlisted after the exam. 

  • The counselling is conducted in offline mode and candidates have to report to the given venues on time.
  • It is also mandatory to carry all the required documents during counselling.
  • The board will issue call letters for councelling which is also necessary to be carried to the coucnelling round.
  • Candidates who are eligible councelling have to register themselves and also complete the choice filling procedure.

DU LLB Seat Allotment 2020

Candidates who have registered for councelling will be considered for DU LLB Seat Allotment 2020 based their rank and choice opted for admission.

  • There are two factors that affect the Seal Allotment which include: Availability of seats and Category of the candidate.
  • The result of Seat allotment will be released category wise on the official website of Delhi University.

DU LLB Cut Off 2020

Delhi University will release the category wise DU LLB Cut Off 2020 along with the counselling and Seat Allotment. Candidates scoring above the cut off marks will be offered admission. Here is the glimpse of previous year cut off marks.
