Coal India Limited organizes the exam for management trainee on a regular interval of time. As a management trainee, you will have gain experience and knowledge required for getting promoted to managerial positions under the direction of people with a proper experience. As part of the job, you would have to perform several duties. One also need to interact with several departments of the organization.
The official notification for this year has not been released till now. Last year, the notice was released in January 2017. And the exam was held in March 2017. The exam is a multiple choice questions computer based test held for 200 marks.

Computer Based Online Examination
All those applicants who pass the CBT will be getting a call for the personal interview session. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of applicant's performance in the computer-based test and personal interview.
Coal India Limited Exam for Management Trainees consists of 2 phases:
The Computer Based Online Exam will be of 3 hours consisting of two papers : Paper-I and Paper-II
Paper-I: This paper will have 100 objective type MCQ questions. The subject asked in this paper will be General Knowledge/Awareness, Reasoning, Numerical ability and General English.
Paper-II :This paper will be related to your discipline & 100 questions from Professional Knowledge will be asked.
