About NIACL Assistant

Assistants are appointed on permanent basis and perform various clerical tasks in the office.

NIACL Assistant Notification

NIACL has not released the official notification for the recruitment of Assistants for 2018. Last year, the notice was released in March. The application process started on 6th March and ended on 29th March 2017.The notification gives complete details like vacancies, eligibility, exam pattern, syllabus, application link, etc. Please wait for the official notice to get the confirmed dates for this year.

NIACL Assistant Vacancy

We will get to know the number of vacancies only after the notification is released. Last year, 976 vacancies were announced for NIACL.

NIACL Assistant Exam Date

Last time, the Tier I exam was held on 22nd and 23rd April 2018. And the Tier II exam was held on 23rd May 2017.

NIACL Assistant Application Form - How to apply

Application link is not active now. It will be activated once the notification is released for this year. We have given the application procedure followed for the past few years.

  1. Visit the official website of NIACL
  2. Click on the registration link.
  3. Enter your personal, academic and experience details.
  4. Upload photograph and Signature.
  5. Submit application form.
  6. Pay application fee.
  7. Submit and take a print out of application form.

NIACL Assistant Selection Process

  • Phase I : Preliminary Exam
  • Phase II: Mains Exam
  • Phase III: Regional Language Test

Candidates have to qualify in Preliminary exam to be selected in the Mains exam. Candidates who qualify in the Mains exam have to write regional language test. Regional Language test is not needed for those who have studied regional language or state language in Class 10.

Regional Language Test:

Regional Language Test is conducted to judge your ability to read, write and speak the local language. The Regional language test is qualifying in nature as there are no marks. Those who have studied state or regional language in Class 10 and Class 12 need not give regional language test.

  1. Reasoning Ability:Puzzles, Seating Arrangement, Inequality, Syllogism, Input- output, Coding and Decoding, Order and Ranking, Direction based problems, Blood Relations, Alphanumeric Series, Data sufficiency, Verbal Reasoning.
  2. English Language:Reading Comprehension, Cloze test, Spotting Errors, Sentence Improvement, Para Jumbles, Fill in the blanks, Para and Sentence Completion.
  3. Numerical Ability:Data interpretation, Number series, Simplification, Quadratic equations, Arithmetic topics, Ages, Profit, Loss and Discount, Averages, Ratio Proportion, Simple and Compound interest, Time and Work, Mixture and Al ligations, Pipes and cisterns, Time, Speed and Distance. Boats and Streams, Probability, Data Sufficiency.
  4. General Awareness:Current Affairs, Insurance, Books and Authors, Currencies, Important places, Awards, Headquarters, Government schemes, Important dates, Capitals, Currencies, countries.
  5. Computer Knowledge:Fundamentals, History, Internet, MS Office, Windows, Memory, Input Output devices, Computer shortcuts, Important abbreviations.
