The Application process o for the IIT Kharagpur LLM degree is completely Online. Here are the necessary steps you need to follow to apply.  

Register and log in  

• You first have to visit the official website.  
• Once you land on the website, you will find the Apply Online option once you click on Application Procedure on the left-hand side.  
• You will be redirected to a new page when you click Apply Online.  
• Here, you must register by providing your contact details, number, and email ID.  
• Once you register, you will get a verification OTP to confirm your contact details. As soon as you complete verification, you will receive an ID and password; with these, you can log in to the application portal.

Apply and Submit  

• Upon logging in, you will find an application form. Begin to fill this form with your details like your name, DOB, Academic qualification, and passing year for each examination. Additionally, you need to add your address.

Entrance Exam to Apply for LLM at IIT Kharagpur 

You don't need to take any separate entrance examination to apply to the IIT Kharagpur LLM Course. IIT conducts an entrance test for all law aspirants like you.

Selection will be based on Computer Based Test (CBT) of 2 hrs duration. CBT comprises multiple-choice questions from the Bar Council of India-approved LL.B syllabus. There will be 120 MCQ questions, each worth 1 mark. There is no negative marking for wrong answers. Furthermore, the first iteration is weighted at 70%, while the PI is weighted at 30%. As a result, the order of merit will be created by adding the scores from both rounds.
