The LIC Assistant 2019 Eligibility Criteria is based on terms of an individual's age and qualification. They have to meet up with all of these terms to fulfill all the conditions of eligibility:

  • The minimum age of the candidate should be 18 years
  • It is mandatory to have a Bachelor's Degree to fill LIC Assistant Application Form

LIC Age Criteria

The students have to be at least 18 years of age to register for the LIC 2019 Exam as per November 01, 2019. The students cannot be more than 30 years of age.

LIC Assistant Education Qualification

It is necessary for applicants to have a Bachelor's Degree (10+2+3) in any subject from a recognized university, according to the LIC Notification.

For Ex-Servicemen

  • HSC (10+2+3) with 10 years of service
  • Matric: 15 years of service
  • Non-Matric: 15 years service + Indian Army special certificate exam or corresponding exam in Air Force & Navy

Other Conditions

  • Those who have worked for a short span of time, say 85 days, in a financial year after July 01, 2008, governed by LIC & satisfy other eligibility conditions can register. Relaxation for upper age is applicable
  • Those who have served for 85 days (or more) in any 2 consecutive calendar years & governed by LIC can also apply
  • These temporary employees have to provide the original employment certificates

The relaxation as per LIC Exam 2019 Notification is as follows:

OBC 3 years
PwBD (Gen) 10 years
PwBD (SC/ST) 15 years
PwBD (OBC) 13 years
Ex-Servicemen The actual period of service in defense services + 3 years subject to the maximum age limit of 45 years. (In case of disabled ex-servicemen belonging to SC/ST/OBC, the maximum age limit of 50 years for SC/ST and 48 years for OBC is allowed.

What are the minimum eligibility criteria to apply for LIC Assistant Exam 2019?

The candidates must be 18 years of age and must have a graduation degree. This is the least minimum eligibility conditions candidates have to fulfill to register for this exam. Without fulfilling the eligibility conditions for LIC Assistant, candidates cannot fill the form. If they do, the form will be rejected by the officials. 

In what field I must have a degree to apply for LIC Assistant 2019 Exam?

The candidates can have a graduation degree in any field/study/subject/area. The most important thing is graduation. There are no specifications for the field of study. Students who do not have a graduation degree shall not apply.

I am in my last semester of graduation. Can I apply for LIC Assistant 2019?

No, candidates who are still in college and pursuing their final semesters cannot apply. It is mandatory for candidates to possess a graduation degree in order to apply for this exam.

I will be 18 years after 2 months. Can I apply for the exam?

No, candidates have to be 18 years to apply for this exam. Otherwise, they cannot. And if any case, they fill the form, the officials will cancel their application form right away. And in no case, the feel would be refunded.

Are B.E students eligible for this exam?

Students from any field of study are welcome to apply for LIC Assistant Exam. The only condition is a graduation degree. If one does not have it, they must not apply.
