GAT

For a Master in Fashion Management, you have to face a 3-hour lengthy Examination whose weightage is going to be 150. Here it would be best if you attempted questions from Communication Ability & English (language and Passage), Case study, Quantitative Aptitude, Analytical Reasoning, CA & General knowledge. Also, for qualifying this round, you need to acquire around 85-90% score, and only then will you become eligible for the PI round. 

PI/GD

The personal interview round is organized to identify the right candidate based on their personality. Their management skills, innovative ideas, resilience, and decision-making skills. NIFT MFM is a course to prepare you for the Fast paced Fashion Industry, so these traits are a must. You also have to prepare your portfolio before you move to the PI round because you will be asked to present your ideas before the Interviewers.

Exams can you take to secure admission to MFM NIFT

GMAT

• If you have an NRI status yet, and you still want to get an MFM degree from NIFT, then you need to write GAT.
• You must register for GAT 6 months before its conduction date to get enough time to book a slot accordingly. 
• You will get around 2 hours and 45 minutes to solve all the questions on your screen. 
• The application form for the GMAT costs USD 250.

CAT

CAT is an All India level Entrance Examination monitored by IIMs. The core aim of this exam is to offer admission to you in Management courses at the PG level, and institutions like NIFT accept its score for MFM too. 

CAT has a total of 100 questions carrying 1 mark each. Those questions will be all MCQs, and there is negative marking too. Also, You will be given 120 minutes to solve all 100 questions. 

If you belong to the General Category, you need to pay around INR 2,000 for Application Form and INR 1000 if you are from the reserved category. 

MAT

MAT is organized and managed by AIMA and is conducted to offer admission to suitable candidates in management courses at the PG level. 

In MAT, you must attempt questions from 5 different sections, including English, Maths, and General Awareness. Also, MAT is conducted once in 4 years and has 200 questions you are supposed to solve in 150 mins. The MAT exam application fee is INR 1650 for PBT & INR 2750 for CBT.
