What does it take to turn law-school ambition into a Top 3 CLAT rank? At LegalEdge, the answer has been built since 2011, one batch at a time: from a first class of four students in Bhopal to CLAT 2026 AIR 1, AIR 2 and AIR 3.

Just outside the Top 100, Om Malik (LE ID 5733004) secured AIR 108.
Geetali Gupta topped CLAT 2026 from LegalEdge's 1-Year Online Classroom Programme. She has said she did not study around the clock and that balancing school with preparation mattered; in an ANI release carried by ThePrint, she describes herself as a LegalEdge student and credits discipline, consistency and mentorship. The Indian Express also covered her approach.
Rohan Joshi reached AIR 3 through the Correspondence Programme, working from LegalEdge study material, mocks and performance reports without regular classes. Two students, two very different routes, both to the top three. The format matters less than how consistently you use it.

In NLSAT 2026, 15 LegalEdge students were selected for NLSIU Bengaluru's 3-Year LL.B. The programme has 120 seats, so about one in every eight admitted students prepared with LegalEdge.
2026 is not a one-off. LegalEdge students have taken CLAT AIR 1 seven times, and the top three ranks four times in six years.

You will not be left guessing. Parents receive monthly progress reports and can speak with the batch mentor about mock performance and the preparation plan.
Before you enrol, ask these questions, of LegalEdge or any institute:
| What to check | Question to ask |
|---|---|
| Programme | Is it right for my child's class and target exam? |
| Faculty | Who teaches this batch, and what is their experience? |
| Schedule | Can my child follow it alongside school? |
| Tests | How often are mocks held, and what happens after each one? |
| Mentorship | Who tracks progress, and how do parents hear about it? |
| Doubts | How quickly are doubts resolved? |
| Fees | What is included, and is there a scholarship? |
Geetali Gupta, CLAT 2026 AIR 1, publicly confirmed her LegalEdge preparation in an ANI release, crediting discipline, consistency and mentorship. LegalEdge is rated [x.x] on Google by [n] students and parents.
LegalEdge began with a teacher who did not plan to be one. After studying at NLIU Bhopal and interning with law firms, corporates and lawyers, Harsh Gagrani started teaching while waiting to move abroad, and found he enjoyed it too much to leave. In 2011 he, Karan Mehta and Gaurav Goel founded LegalEdge in Bhopal to give law aspirants the structured guidance that was then hard to find outside a few metro cities.
The first batch had four students and four teachers. Their first current-affairs book sold nearly 1,000 copies within weeks, and two of those four students made it into National Law Schools. That small-batch focus on teaching, content, testing and direct support is still the core of the institute.
During COVID, the founders took full ownership of the business and moved every part of the classroom online: live classes, doubt-solving, mentorship, YouTube sessions, study material and tests. Demand grew fast. New batches went from roughly one every two months to one every week.

Starting in Class 10 gives you about 26 months before CLAT 2029 in December 2028. The early months focus on reading habits, vocabulary and current-affairs awareness, so that by Class 11 you are building exam skills on a strong base rather than starting from zero.
Time is the advantage a two-year programme gives you. The 2-Year CLAT Programme balances school with law-entrance preparation and builds reading habits and concept clarity before the pressure starts. It works: AIR 2, AIR 7 and AIR 8 in CLAT 2026 all came from the 2-Year Offline Classroom Programme.
| Stage | What you work on |
|---|---|
| Foundation | Daily reading, comprehension and vocabulary habits |
| Concept building | English, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, Current Affairs incl. GK and Quantitative Techniques |
| Practice | Topic tests and sectional tests after each chapter |
| Application | Passage-based questions in the CLAT pattern |
| Evaluation | Full-length mocks with rank and accuracy analysis |
| Final preparation | Revision, mock marathons and exam-day strategy |
If you are in Class 12, have just decided on law or are taking a gap year, the 1-Year CLAT Programme covers English, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, Current Affairs incl. GK and Quantitative Techniques in one intensive cycle. You learn each concept, practise it through topic and sectional tests, move on to full-length mocks, analyse every result and revise before the exam.
Online students can take the Gold CLAT Programme, LegalEdge's year-long online course with live classes, printed study material and eBooks, mocks, doubt-clearing and mentorship.
CLAT is not the only door into a top law school. Preparing for several exams together gives you a primary target, secondary targets and backup options.
| Exam | Leads to |
|---|---|
| CLAT | National Law Universities (NLUs) |
| AILET | NLU Delhi |
| SLAT | Symbiosis law schools |
| MH-CET Law (5-Year) | Law colleges in Maharashtra |
| CUET UG (Law) | Participating central and other universities |
| CULEE | Christ University |
| Other law entrances | Exam-specific preparation |
CLAT tests five areas: English Language, Current Affairs including General Knowledge, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Techniques. Finishing the syllabus is only the start. CLAT rewards applying what you know under time pressure, so every LegalEdge programme layers practice and analysis on top of teaching. In CLAT 2026, for example, Logical Reasoning proved the hardest section, while GK and Legal Reasoning were the most scoring.
| Layer | What you work on |
|---|---|
| Knowledge | Concepts, vocabulary and current affairs |
| Reading | Passage comprehension at exam speed |
| Reasoning | Logical and legal application |
| Quant | Arithmetic and data-based questions |
| Practice | Topic and sectional tests |
| Simulation | Full-length mocks |
| Analysis | Accuracy, rank, difficulty and weak areas |
| Strategy | Time allocation and question selection |
AILET is a different paper, so it gets its own preparation: AILET-specific mocks, sectional practice and a strong GK focus. LegalEdge's AILET 2026 analysis found the paper easy to moderate overall, with General Knowledge deciding many ranks.
| Resource | What it is for |
|---|---|
| Printed study material and eBooks | Concept learning and revision |
| RSM booklets | LegalEdge's printed practice booklets: 20+ booklets with 15,000+ questions for CLAT, AILET and other law entrances |
| The CLATPost | Monthly current-affairs magazine |
| LegaLE | Legal and current-affairs knowledge resource |
| Previous-year and sample papers | Familiarity with the real exam pattern, with detailed solutions |
| Video explanations | Learning from each test |
A mock should never end with a score. Every LegalEdge test comes with a performance report covering rank, percentile, sectional scores and topic-level gaps, so that the next mock is better than the last.
| After a mock, ask | Why it matters |
| How much did I score? | Your baseline |
| Where do I stand? | Your rank against other aspirants |
| Where did I lose marks? | Accuracy gaps |
| Which section took too long? | Time leaks |
| Which concepts keep tripping me? | Topics to revise |
| What will I change? | Strategy for the next mock |
| Did the change work? | Proof of progress |
The useful question is not "Did I score 85?" It is: "Why did I score 85, where did the other 35 marks go, and what can I change before the next mock?"
Preparation plans go wrong; mentors help you fix them. Each batch has a dedicated mentor, and LE Chanakya, LegalEdge's mentoring group, covers timetables, strategy, stress management, exam updates and law-college updates. For Class 11 and 12 students juggling school and board exams, that support makes a real difference.
Classes are taught by NLU alumni, academicians and subject specialists with 5+ years of teaching experience. Each subject is broken into core concepts before students move to exam-level questions, followed by daily practice and test analysis. Meet the faculty: [faculty names].
If you have already graduated, law is still open to you. LegalEdge's 3-Year LLB preparation is built for recent graduates, career changers and working professionals from any stream: arts, commerce, science, engineering and more. These exams test reading, reasoning and analysis, and some, like NLSAT, also test written argument.
LegalEdge covers 11 graduate-entry law entrances. The 3-Year LLB SuperCourse bundles 7 of them into one programme; the others have exam-specific courses.

NLSAT has an objective section and Part-B, a subjective section where you write analytical answers. The NLSAT programme prepares you for both with live classes, study material, 25+ full-length mocks in Pro batches, Part-B answer-writing practice, performance reviews, doubt-clearing and mentorship. Final-stretch revision content covers the last 14 days: Legal Reasoning, GK, English, mock strategy and common last-minute mistakes.
The Standard 3-Year LLB Test Series includes 45 mocks across NLSAT, CNLU ET, DSNLU ET, MAH LLB CET, CUET PG LLB, NLUO AIET and SLS AIAT, plus 100+ topic tests and 50+ sectional drills. The Premium series adds more exams and an NLSAT Part-B answer-writing guide.
The 2027 SuperCourse covers seven exams in one programme: NLSAT, MAH LLB CET, CUET PG LLB, NLUO AIET, SLS AIAT, DSNLU ET and CNLU ET. It includes 75 full-length mocks, 100+ sectional tests, 200+ topic drills and 10 NLSAT Part-B sectional tests, with printed books and eBooks, mentorship and performance reports. For a graduate with a job or college to manage, one programme for seven exams saves a lot of duplicated effort.
MH-CET Law can look straightforward, but speed and accuracy decide ranks. In a LegalEdge-authored article syndicated by PTI and carried by The Wire, LegalEdge's preparation advice focuses on five areas: consistent GK and current-affairs preparation, applying legal principles rather than memorising them, reading speed, regular mocks, and analysing repeated mistakes. Without negative marking, the trap is attempting everything without control; the fix is a loop of attempt, analyse, correct and attempt again.
Each centre follows the same faculty standards, study material and test series. Find your nearest one below; batch and centre availability can change, so check with the centre before you enrol.
There is no single right format. Pick the one that will keep you consistent; CLAT 2026's top three came from online, offline and correspondence preparation.
| If you… | Consider |

| Learn best in a physical classroom | Offline Classroom |
| Need flexibility around school or college | Online Classroom |

| Want recorded classes to revisit | Online Classroom (where included) |
| Prefer self-study with expert material and tests | Correspondence Programme |

Online programmes include live classes, recordings where included, study material and eBooks, mocks, topic and sectional tests, performance reports, doubt-clearing, mentorship and All India Open Mocks. The real question is not whether online coaching is enough, but whether you will attend, practise, take mocks and act on the feedback.

Every CLAT topper you read about on this page started exactly where you are now: curious, a little unsure, and wondering whether a seat at a top law school was really within reach. Geetali was a school student balancing classes and homework. Rohan prepared from home with study material and mocks. Parv, Gauransh and Argh began in Class 11 with a two-year plan. Different routes, different cities, the same result: their names at the top of the CLAT 2026 merit list.
That is what makes this the best part of the journey. Your story hasn’t been written yet. Whether you are in Class 10 with plenty of time, in Class 12 with the exam months away, or a graduate ready for a fresh start in law, there is a path built for you, and a team that has walked thousands of students down it before.
At LegalEdge, you won’t prepare alone. You’ll have teachers who make concepts click, mentors who check in when the plan wobbles, mocks that show you exactly how far you’ve come, and a community of aspirants chasing the same dream. All you need to bring is curiosity and consistency. We’ll help with the rest.
So take that first small step today. Book a free demo, try a free mock, and see where you stand. Somewhere ahead is a moment when you open your result, see your rank, and realise the late-night reading and the hundredth mock were worth it. We can’t wait to celebrate that moment with you.
Here&rsquxo;s to your first step toward an NLU. 🎓
