Documents Required for JEE Mains Paper 2 Counselling 

Note that there is no centralized counselling for JEE Paper 2 2023; the necessary documents may differ depending on the institute and the state where the institute is situated.

Generally, you must carry the following documents for the JEE Mains Paper 2 counselling procedure. 

  • Class 10th and 12th Mark sheets and other relevant certificates.
  • Transfer certificate (if applicable).
  • Residence certificate (if applicable).
  • Category Certificate (if applicable).
  • Photo ID proof and photograph.
  • Medical Certificate.

Note: Carry the originals and two sets of xerox copies of the above-listed documents.

Steps involved in JEE Mains Paper 2 Counselling Process 2023

The seat allotment for JEE Mains Paper 2 in 2023 will depend on the student's performance in the JEE Mains exam. Based on their JEE Mains score, the students will be allotted seats in the various IITs, NIITs, and other design colleges.

JEE Mains Paper 2 Counselling process 2023 is expected to be conducted soon. The counselling process will involve online registration, document verification, choice filling and seat allotment.

  • Candidates who qualify for JEE Mains Paper 2 will be eligible to participate in the counselling process.
  • You must register yourself for counselling by submitting your details and paying the counselling fee.
  • After registration, you must appear for document verification at the designated centres.
  • The documents required for verification will include JEE Mains Paper 2 Score Card, Class 10th and 12th Mark Sheets, Caste Certificate, etc.
  • Once the document verification is complete, you must enter their courses and institute choices.
  • The seat allotment will be made based on choices entered by the candidates.
  • After the choice-filling process is complete, the seat allotment will be done based on merit, rank, availability of seats, etc. Finally, you must pay the seat acceptance fee and report to the allotted institute for admission.

The JEE Paper 2 counselling process is open to all candidates who have cleared the JEE Paper 2 exam. Council on Accreditation (CoA) declares the passing score on the JEE Mains Paper 2 exam.

The JEE Mains Paper 2 examination that will take place will not involve any centralized counselling in any form.
