What is the IIM Bangalore BBA DBE Program?

The BBA-DBE Undergraduate Programme in Digital Business and Entrepreneurship is a three-year degree offered online by IIM Bangalore.

• You will have multiple exit options and can earn a certificate, diploma, or degree.
• If you choose to exit the programme with a certificate or a diploma, you may, within constraints, be able to rejoin the programme to complete the degree.
• The courses will be delivered online asynchronously, while exams will be held offline at different centres across India.
• This programme may be undertaken as a standalone primary degree or pursued alongside any other educational programme in which the student is enrolled.
• While following up on the multiple exit options, students must complete the degree within 6 years.

IIM Bangalore BBA DBE Admission through CUET 2026: Eligibility

The programme is open to Indian Nationals. The basic eligibility criteria for admission to IIM Bangalore DBE via CUET include the following:

12th or equivalent	A minimum of 60% marks or equivalent Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) in recognised board exams for general category & NC OBC&EWS categories candidates
	55% marks or equivalent CGPA for SC, ST & Pwd (>= 40% disability) candidates

IIM Bangalore BBA DBE Admission through CUET 2026: Application Form 

• The application form must be completed on the online admission application portal for the BBA in Digital Business and Entrepreneurship Programme.
• Ensure that the name and date of birth mentioned on the form match those on your mark sheets.
• No changes shall be permitted subsequently.
• You must declare and maintain a valid and unique email account and a mobile phone number throughout the admission process.
• All communication regarding admissions will only be sent to the registered email address.

Along with the general documents required for CUET registration, the following documents are mandatory in the application form, wherever applicable:

1. Government-issued photo and address identity card with validity.
2. Valid certificates are required for applicants in the SC, ST, NC-OBC, EWS, and Pwd categories. No changes to the category will be accepted after the application has been submitted.
3. Pass certificate and marks sheet of a recognised Class 10 Board or equivalent.
4. Pass certificate and marks sheet of a recognised Class 12 Board or equivalent

IIM Bangalore BBA DBE Admission through CUET 2026: Application Fees

You have to apply for the IIMB BBA (DBE) course separately after filling out the CUET application form. The important details regarding the same are: 

• The programme will accept applications through the online application portal notified on the IIMB website.
• You must complete the application formalities and pay the prescribed application fee for further processing.

Admission Process for BBA DBE Program via CUET 2026

If you are seeking admission to IIM Bangalore DBE via CUET, you may qualify if you satisfy the following requirements:

Submitting valid scores from CUET(UG) General Aptitude Test (Section III only) from the 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026 examinations

Note: 

• Only CUET General Test (now General Aptitude Test) scores will be evaluated, and domain-specific subjects and English language sections will NOT be considered.
• Please note that submitting CUET entrance exam scores does not automatically guarantee admission. These scores are required to satisfy CUET eligibility for IIM Bangalore DBE course and are considered as part of the overall screening and selection process.

IIM Bangalore BBA DBE Admission through CUET 2026: Selection Criteria

• The candidates will be selected for the programme only based on their performance in the various tests, such as CUET General Aptitude test (2023, 2024, 2025, 2026), JEE mains, or IIMB BBA Entrance test.
• No marks will be evaluated for CUET domain subjects and English language sections. 
• Based on the category-wise/section-wise selection cut-off in the IIMB DBE Entrance Test 2026/CUET 2023/2024/2025/2026/JEE 2023/2024/2025/2026 scores, decided by the Admissions Office, only the shortlisted candidates shall be informed to register for the programme by paying the required programme fee.
• The total expected tuition fee for a three-year Degree programme is Rs. 4,50,000 for the 2026 batch.
• There is a 50% fee waiver for SC/ST and PwD students. 
• For program scholarship, as per the statutory terms, family income should not be more than Rs. 8 lakhs.
• The fee is payable each term across the nine terms of the Degree programme.
• If students need to take a break from coursework, a continuation fee of Rs 1,000 per term must be paid untill they rejoin the programme.
