The NID Toppers List Ranks are prepared by combining the scores of the two phases of the exam, DAT Prelims and Mains.

Tie-breaker rules:

While preparing the NID rank list 2025, in case the total marks scored by two or more candidates is the same, tie breaker policy is applied by the institute:

Higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who has obtained higher marks in DAT Mains.
If this does not break the tie, a higher rank will be assigned to the one who has obtained more marks in Stage 1 of DAT.
