The government has decided to conduct a common entrance test to recruit eligible candidates for Group B and Group C posts in various government organizations like SSC, RRB, and Banking. National Recruitment Agency, which is set up by the Central Government will conduct the CET Exam. The only candidates scoring above the qualifying marks will be eligible for the next stage of the exam conducted by the respective government organizations. Exams Included in NRA CET - SSC Category

Staff Selection Commission is one of the recruiting agencies for various Government organizations, ministries, and departments. Every year more than 10 lakh candidates apply for various SSC Exams. It is hectic for students to apply for different examinations as they have multiple application processes and different exam schedule. SSC CGL

• The Combined Graduate Level is one of the highly in-demand posts across SSC. 
• If you have completed a degree, then you can apply for SSC CGL Exam. 
• There are four stages included in CGL i.e., Prelims, Mains, Descriptive, Skill Test
• All stages are qualifying in nature and candidates must score above the cut off marks in order to get selected for their desired post.
• NRA will conduct the preliminary examination for 100 marks and qualifiers will continue with further stages which will be conducted by SSC.

SSC CHSL

• Another examination for which there is a lot of applications received is the Combined Higher Secondary Level Exam.
• There is an equal competition similar to CGL. Every year around 5-6 lakh candidates apply for CHSL Exam.
• The SSC CHSL Recruitment includes three stages i.e., CBT, Descriptive, and Typing/Skill Test.
• After completing the first stage through the NRA, candidates will be shortlisted for the second stage. 
• The scorecard received from the NRA will be valid for 3 years. 

SSC CPO

• Central Police Organization Exam is conducted for the recruitment of Sub-Inspector (SI) in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs). 
• It is one of the prestigious jobs in government organizations. 
• Aspirants need to qualify four stages as a part of the SSC CPO Recruitment in order to be eligible for final selection.
• Every year at least 2-3 lakh candidates apply for Police Force. From the next year, candidates need to appear for NRA CET to take up the first stage of recruitment.

SSC MTS

• If you are a 10th pass candidate and willing to apply for a government job, then MTS is the right option.
• SSC MTS recruits aspirants for Multi Tasking Staff for which candidates need to pass 10th standard as their education qualification.
• There are just two stages included in the selection process i.e., the online and offline exam.
• Both the stages are qualifying in nature and candidates need to secure above the cut off marks so that they are eligible for the next stage.

SSC Stenographer

• Group C and D posts are recruited through the SSC Stenographer Exam. 
• There are just two stages included in the selection process i.e., the online exam and skill test.
• Candidates need to secure above the cut off marks to be eligible for final selection. 
• After receiving NRA CET Scorecard, candidates can utilize the score to apply for Government and Private sector jobs.

IBPS PO & Clerk

• Institute of Banking Personel Selection is of the largest organization that conducts various Banking Exams.
• Every year more than 10 lakh candidates apply for PO and Clerk Exams codnucted through IBPS. 
• In IBPS PO Exam, there are three stages i.e., Prelims, Mains, and Interview. Each stage needs to be qualified by scoring above the cut-off marks. 
• From this year, the first stage will be conducted by  NRA CET to shortlist candidates for the second stage. 
• Another examination IBPS Clerk is a highly in demand for aspirants who have completed their degree. 

IBPS RRB PO & Clerk

• IBPS recruits for Regional Banks as well. Hence, there is another separate examination conducted for Probationary Officers and Clerks.
• You can apply for IBPS RRB Exam if you are aspiring to work in regional banks.
• There are three stages involved in the selection process i.e., Prelims, Mains, and Interview. 
• Aspirants can now apply for various banking exams through NRA as there is just one common prelims exam conducted to shortlist candidates for further stages. 

SBI PO & Clerk

• We all know that the State Bank of India is one of the highly prestigious Banking sectors which conducts numerous recruitment drives every year.
• There are various openings in SBI every year and it is a golden opportunity for aspirants if they wish to work in the banking sector. 
• Both PO and Clerk have three stages in the selection process i.e, Prelims, Mains, and Interview. 

Other Banking Exams

• There are various other banking exams which will also be conducted by NRA CET. 
• Candidates can apply once and appear for many examinations. There is a limit for attempts as well unless candidates fulfil the eligibility criteria. 

Exams Included In NRA CET - Railway Category

Here are a few RRB Exams that will be codnucted by NRA from next year. Candidates need to appear for NRA CET Exam as their initial screening test. After qualifying for the common entrance test, candidates will be shortlisted for further stages of the respective exams applied.

RRB NTPC

• NTPC is the exam conducted for non-technical posts like Goods Guard, Station Master, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, Senior Time Keeper, Commercial Apprentice, etc.
• In RRB NTPC Exam, there are four stages included in the selection process i.e., CBT1, CBT 2, Typing Skill Test/Computer Based Aptitude Test, and Document Verification.
• Candidates might be interested to appear for SSC and RRB but due to the odd exam schedule, it was not possible previously. But, now candidates can apply for their desired exams through one platform i.e., NRA. 

RRB Group D

• All the Group D posts available in the Railways department are categorized under RRB Group D Recruitment.
• Every year, more than one lakh vacancies are released for Group D post. In this recruitment, there are three stages included in the selection process i.e., Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and Document Verification

NRA CET for FCI

• In the coming years, the initial stage of FCI Recruitment will be conducted by the National Recruitment Agency to shortlist candidates for further stages. 
• Food Corporation of India recruits aspirants for posts like JE (Civil Engineering), JE (Electrical, Mechanical Engineering), Steno Grade-II, AG – II (Hindi), Typist (Hindi), AG – III (General), AG – III (Accounts), AG – III (Technician), and AG – (Depot).

NRA CET for NABARD

• For the recruitment of aspirants for Assistant Managers in Grade A, NABARD Recruitment is conducted
• Every year, National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development releases vacancies for Asst Managers post across the organization.
• NABARD is an all India Apex Organisation completely owned by the Government of India.
