Staff Selection Commission(SSC) came into existence in the year 1975. SSC CPO is conducted to recruit candidates for the posts of Sub-Inspector(SI), Assistant Sub Inspector(ASI), Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) exams in the country. SSC CPO jobs are highly respectable jobs which involves insuring the national security of the country.

The official SSC CPO notification was released on 3rd March 2018. The application form filling process commenced on the same date. And the last date of application was 13th April 2018. The Tier I exam was scheduled to be held from 4th to 10th June 2018. However, recently it was postponed via an official notice due to administrative reasons. The application link for SSC CPO 2018 has been closed now. The procedure given below is according to the steps followed for the past few years' notifications.
The examination will consist of Paper-I, Physical Standard Test (PST)/ Physical Endurance Test (PET), Paper-II and Detailed Medical Examination (DME).
