The official Admit Card for IBPS RRB 2019 has been released for Officer Scale 1 and Office Assistant Both on 15th July 2019. Candidates can download the Admit Card for Pre-Exam Training from the official website of IBPS RRB.

The Online Application process is currently inactive as it is concluded on July 4, 2019. Candidates must note that they cannot make any changes once they have submitted the IBPS RRB Application Form

Nationality

Citizens with the following Nationality Status:- Indian/ a subject of Nepal/ Bhutan/a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India. 

Language

Candidates applying for the post of Office Assistant in any particular RRB are required to possess proficiency in the local language of the State/ UT in which the RRB is situated to be eligible for interview.

Educational Qualification

Before applying to any of the posts, it is important to check whether candidates meet the educational Qualification for that post. The following Table has the required Educational Eligibility for IBPS RRB.

Here is the IBPS RRB selection process for IBPS RRB Officer and Assistant post. The Selection process for Office Assistant Scale I is two-tier and comprises Prelims and Mains. Selection Process for Office Assistant Comprises of the following phases:

  • Preliminary Exam
  • Mains Exam

IBPS RRB Officer Scale I: It comprises a three-tier selection process for Officer Scale I and comprises Prelims, Mains and GD/Interview. 

IBPS RRB Officer Scale-II, Scale-III: There will be a Single level Exam for IBPS RRB Officer Scale-II and Scale III. This applies to General Banking Officer and Specialist cadre Officer in Scale-II. Even Officer Scale III are eligible for the Single Level exam only.

Q. Will there be an interview after the exam?

A. There will be an interview for the posts of Officer Scale – 1, 2 and 3. However, there is no interview for the post Office Assistant. Candidates applying for Office Assistant post will be provisionally allotted on the basis of marks obtained in the main exam and the vacancies.

Q. Should I know the local language to apply from a state?

A. Yes. Proficiency in the local language is essential for the posts of Officer Scale-1 and Office Assistant.

Q. How to calculate the percentage?

A. The percentage should be arrived at by dividing the total marks obtained by the candidate in all the subjects in all semesters(s)/year(s) by aggregate maximum marks in all the subjects irrespective of honors/options/additional optional subject if any. Fractions will be ignored. i.e., 59.99% will be treated at less than 60%.

A. Candidates seeking age relaxation will be required to submit copies of necessary certificates at the time of the interview if shortlisted. (Officer Scale – 1, 2 and 3)

Candidates applying for Office Assistant post, seeking age relaxation, will be required to submit copies of necessary certificates at the time of verification of documents on the day or before the day of joining the allotted RRB.

Q. If I am from a particular state, can I select a different state to apply?

A. Yes, you can. If you’re applying for the posts of Officer Scale-1 and Office Assistant, the names of RRBs for giving the order of preference will be available based on the state which you select to apply for. You will, however, have to select the center of the exam in that state only.

Q. Can I make the Changes in the Application Form after submission?

A. No. Particulars mentioned in the online application will be considered final and no change/modifications will be allowed after submission of the online application form. Hence the application needs to be filled with utmost care.
