NRA CET for Graduates Eligibility Criteria 2020-21

Candidates willing to apply for the common eligibility test must go through the eligibility criteria set by the concerned exam conducting body.


  • A candidate must be a citizen of India or a citizen of Nepal/Bhutan
  • Tibetan refugee settled in India before January 01, 1962, is also eligible to apply for the CET exam.
  • Candidates who have migrated from any country but permanently residing in India are also eligible.

Age Limit

  • The age limit depends on the exam the candidates wishes to take up and it varies for each post.
  • There is no change in the age limit of the exam. It remains the same as it is now for graduate students.

The age relaxation will be provided for EWS and PwD candidates as per the government rules.

Educational Qualification

As the NRA conducts the examination separately for graduates, 12th pass, and 10th pass, the qualification for each level will be different.

NRA CET Exam Pattern 2020-21 for Graduates

It is expected that the Common Eligibility Test will include four sections namely: Quantitative Aptitude, English Language, General Awareness, and Reasoning. 

  • The common eligibility test 2020 for Graduates is conducted for a total of 200 marks.
  • Each section consists of 25 questions and each question carries 2 marks.
  • There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrongly answered question.
  • The time duration of the exam is 60 minutes i.e., 1 hour.
