IPM Bodhgaya Admission Policy

Before knowing the IPMAT Bodhgaya Admission details, checking the eligibility criteria is mandatory.

IIM Bodh Gaya IPM Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have passed the 10+2/ XII/ HSC examination in arts, commerce, or science streams or equivalent with a minimum of 60% (55% for candidates from SC, ST, PwD, and Transgender categories) in 2026 or are expected to complete in 2026.

  • Minimum Percentage: Applicants must also have achieved at least 60% in the Class X examination (55% for candidates from SC, ST, PwD, and Transgender categories).
  • Percentage Calculation: The marks obtained in Class X and XII will be calculated according to the Board’s regulations. If no specific laws exist, the aggregate marks of all subjects appearing in the grade sheet will be considered for calculating the final percentage.
  • Provisional Admission: Candidates in their final year of Standard XII can apply provisionally. However, their admission remains provisional until the final Class XII results are confirmed. Candidates failing to meet the requisite scores will be removed from the admission process.

Seat Allocation at IIM Bodh Gaya 

For 2026, IIM Bodh Gaya has organized its seats in this manner: 

  • Around 70% of seats are neutral in gender. 
  • If female candidates have a lower representation in the gender-neutral seats, 30% of the JIPMAT seats will be designated for them. 
  • The overall count of seats is 120

IPMAT Bodhgaya Admission Selection Process 2026

Merit List

The selection procedure for IIM Bodh Gaya relies solely on JIPMAT scores.

Nonetheless, applicants are required to obtain at least a 30 percentile in every section to be eligible for admission. 

Tie-breaking Rule for Merit List

If two or more candidates have the same composite score, their ranking will be determined based on:

  1. Higher JIPMAT score
  2. Higher VARC (Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension) score
  3. Higher QA (Quantitative Aptitude) score
  4. Higher DILR (Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning) score
  5. Higher Class 10 marks
  6. Higher Class 12 marks
  7. The younger candidate will be ranked higher if all factors remain the same.

Offer Acceptance Fee and Withdrawal

After the merit list is declared, chosen candidates need to finalize the IPMAT Bodhgaya admission procedure: 

  • Offer Acceptance Amount (OAA): Students are required to pay ₹60,000 to secure their enrollment. 
  • Refund Policy: A candidate who withdraws during the designated timeframe will receive a refund after deducting ₹1,000 for processing fees. Once the deadline has passed, refunds will not be issued. 
  • Final Admission: If a student cancels after registering, there will be no refund for the acceptance or semester fees. 

The specific procedure for accepting and withdrawing offers will be communicated during the Acceptance Proposal.

IIM Bodh Gaya Application Process 2026

Candidates seeking admission to the MBA programs offered by IIM Bodh Gaya must visit the official website of the institute to register for the entrance examination.

The JIPMAT 2026 Application Form will be made available on the official website from February 2026 (tentative).

Students are requested to collect their documents before starting the registration process.

The steps to be followed to fill out the form are as follows:

Step 1: Registration on the Official Website

The first step for the IPMAT Bodhgaya admission is the JIPMAT registration. Follow these steps to register:

Visit the National Testing Agency (NTA) official website, 'https://exams.nta.ac.in/'

Click on the “New Registration” button.

Read the instructions carefully and proceed by clicking on “I Agree.”

Fill in the necessary details such as:
