UP Judiciary Age Limit 2021

The age limit criteria set by the Uttar Pradesh High Court to apply for UP Judicial Services Recruitment 2021 is as follows:

  • As per the notification, the date of birth must be after 1st July 1997 and not before 2nd July 1984. 
  • The minimum age should be 22 years to apply for the exam.
  • The maximum age should not exceed 35 years as of 01 July 2021.

Age Relaxation 2021

The age relaxation will be provided for candidates belonging to the SC, ST, OBC, Ex-servicemen, and physically handicapped persons. Go through the age relaxation for each category from the post below.

  • The upper age relaxation for candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Caste, and OBC category is 5 years.
  • The upper age limit shall be greater than 5 years for candidates belonging to Ex-serviceman, emergency commissioned officers, and short service commissioned officers.
  • The age relaxation for physically handicapped candidates is 15 years.
  • There is no age relaxation for D.F.F candidates.

UP PCS J Education Qualification 2021

The required educational criteria to be eligible for the UP PCS J Exam includes:

  • You must have completed a Bachelor of Law from a University established by Law in U.P. or from the any other University of India recognized for this purpose by the Governor.
  • You must be an Advocate enrolled under the provisions of the Advocate Act 1961 or a Barrister of England or Northern Ireland or a Member Faculty of Advocates in Scotland and is entitled to practice in the Court or Courts subordinate thereto.
  • You must have a thorough knowledge of Hindi in Devnagri Script to apply for the UP Judicial Services Recruitment.
  • Emergency Commissioned/Short Service Commissioned Officers who have not been released from Army but whose period of Army Service has been extended for rehabilitation, may also apply for the exam. However, they have to submit a certificate in this respect from the competent authority of Army, Navy, Air Force to the effect that their period of Service has been extended for rehabilitation and no disciplinary action is pending against them.

UP PCS J Selection Procedure 2021

UP Judicial Services 2021 is a three-tiered examination. We shall discuss the UPPCS J 2021 Selection Procedure of all the levels in detail below:

UP PCS J Prelims Exam 2021

The Prelims exams of PCS Judiciary Uttar Pradesh will be conducted in Offline MCQ format discussed, i.e. Offline papers of General Knowledge and Law under the duration of 2 hours each. The aspirants will be scoring against the available maximum marks of 150 and 300 respectively. UPPSC/ High Court of Allahabad will release UPPSC 2021 Prelims Result in the form of the Merit list at its official portal.

UP PCS J Mains Exam 2021

Followed by the successful conduct of Prelims, the commission/High Court will conduct subjective type Offline UPPSC J Mains Test for the qualified students. The mains level of PCS J will be conducted over a week with one paper per day. The Subjects asked in Mains will be:
