After the wait of 4 years, the Uttar Pradesh Public Commission announced the most awaited vacancies for Civil Judge Recruitment through a public notice. Following that, the notification on the UP PCS J Exam was published on December 10, 2022.
The exam is conducted in three phases – Preliminary, Main Exam, and interview. All three phases of the exam are qualifying in nature. The final selection will be based on the marks scored in the main (written) exam and the interview.

The salary of the Uttar Pradesh Civil Judge High Court ranges between Rs. 27,700 - Rs. 44,700 per month. Apart from the Uttar Pradesh Judiciary Salary, the civil judge is entitled to get many other allowances and perks, and those are as follows.
This year, the Uttar Pradesh High Court released the vacancy list on 10 December 2022. However, the total number of vacancies for all categories is 303.

According to the Uttar Pradesh Judicial Service (Fifth Amendment) Rules, 2022, regarding Amendment in Uttar Pradesh Judicial Service Rules, 2001, 4% of vacancies shall be reserved for the following persons with “benchmark disabilities”, namely:
(i) 1% for the persons in the following category of disabilities under the category of ‘Locomotor disability (as defined in the Schedule appended to the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016)
(a) Locomotor disability of OneArm, One Leg and Both Legs
(b) Leprosy-cured person

The application fee can be paid only online using a debit card, credit card, or NEFT. An online transaction fee of 25 INR will also be charged along with the UP Civil Judge Exam application fee.

UPPSC releases the admit card two weeks before the commencement of the examination. The Commission (UPPSC) releases the UP Judiciary Admit Card on its official portal. You must log in to the portal using the user ID and password to download the admit card.
