How to Check the MP ADPO Result 2026

MP ADPO Result 2026 can be checked on the official website. The result is a PDF list, so it does not need a password; a roll number from the admit card is enough.

  1. Go to mppsc.mp.gov.in.
  2. Open the Results section (or the latest updates on the homepage, where new results usually appear first).
  3. Click the link for the Assistant District Public Prosecution Officer Examination 2026 result.
  4. The PDF opens. Press Ctrl+F (or "Find in page" on a phone) and type your roll number.
  5. If your roll number appears, you are shortlisted for the interview. Download and save the PDF.
  6. Check both parts of the result if MPPSC releases it in two parts.

MP ADPO Answer Key 2026 and Objection Process

The provisional answer key comes before the MP ADPO Result 2026. MPPSC uploads it on mppsc.mp.gov.in after the exam, and you get seven days to challenge any answer at ₹100 per objection, refunded if the objection is accepted.

A subject expert committee reviews the objections. If a key is wrong, it is corrected. If a question has more than one correct option, all of them get marks, and a question with no correct option is dropped. The written result is prepared on the final key, not the provisional one.

How MPPSC Prepares the MP ADPO Result 2026: Marks, Qualifying Marks and Shortlisting

The written exam has 150 objective questions for 450 marks, solved in three hours. Each correct answer earns 3 marks and each wrong answer costs 1 mark.

MP ADPO Qualifying Marks

General category candidates need 40% in Part A and Part B separately. MP-domicile SC, ST and OBC candidates get a 10% relaxation, so their minimum is 30% in each part. In marks, that works out to:

Category

Part A (out of 150)

Part B (out of 300)

General

60

120

MP SC / ST / OBC

45

90

Clearing these minimums keeps candidates in the race. It does not guarantee an interview call, because the shortlist depends on merit and the number of posts.

What Happens After the MP ADPO Result 2026

After the written result candidates are called for an interview call, and the interview completes the selection process. The final merit list is made on written marks plus interview marks, out of 500.

  • Interview (50 marks): attendance is compulsory. There is no separate minimum qualifying mark for the interview.
  • Document check: MPPSC does not verify documents at the application stage. Verification happens at the interview, so any mismatch in category, domicile or degree details shows up here.
  • Preferential qualifications: candidates with a first division in law, two or more years of legal practice, or a higher qualification are given preference at the final selection stage.
  • Final merit list: published on mppsc.mp.gov.in. MPPSC does not entertain re-evaluation or rechecking requests.

Selected candidates join the Home Department as Assistant District Public Prosecution Officers, a permanent Gazetted Class II post. The pay scale is ₹9,300 to ₹34,800 with a grade pay of ₹4,200. The job is to represent the State in criminal cases before Judicial Magistrate courts at the district and tehsil level.

Candidates should keep documents ready for the Interview

The interview notice will carry the exact list. Start gathering these now, since getting certificates reissued can take weeks:

  • LLB degree and all mark sheets
  • Proof of date of birth (age limit is 21 to 40 years as on 1 January 2027, with relaxations as per the notification)
  • MP domicile certificate, if you applied under a reserved category
  • Caste, non-creamy layer or EWS certificate, as applicable
  • Disability certificate, if applicable
  • Bar enrolment and practice proof, if you are claiming the two-year practice preference
  • Admit card and printout of the online application form

Common Mistakes Candidates Make Around Result Time

  • Following the old schedule. Admit card on 8 October and exam on 18 October were the original dates. The current dates are 21 October and 1 November 2026.
  • Using the wrong website. The official result site is mppsc.mp.gov.in. Some coaching pages still link to an older MPPSC domain or to unofficial mirrors.
  • Clicking result links shared on social media. Fake "MPPSC result" links do circulate. Open the PDF only from the official site.
  • Reading the qualifying mark as the cut-off. 40% (or 30%) is a floor. The real cut-off is usually higher because only about three candidates per post get an interview call.
  • Checking only one list. If the result comes in an 87% main part and a 13% part, look at both before you conclude anything.
  • Waiting for the result to start interview preparation. The gap between the written result and the interview can be short.
