The NUSRL Ranchi Cut-Off Marks are the minimum marks that the candidates require to get admission to the National University of Study and Research in Law, Ranchi. Admissions to BA LLB and LLM law courses happen on the basis of performance in the CLAT exam, which is a national-level exam for law entrance. The consortium of NLUs conducts it on a rotation basis.

• The NURSL offers 60 CLAT seats for the undergraduate course, LLB. It’s seat intake for the LLM course in 20.

The National University of Study and Research in Law, Ranchi, has been a reputed institute attracting law students across the country. It offers both undergraduate – BA LLB and Master’s- LLM programs in Law. This year, NUSRL is also the university that is conducting the CLAT exam. CLAT Seat Intake for NUSRL Ranchi

CLAT Admissions in a University depend on the seat intake of that University. NUSRL has a seat intake capacity of 60 for the BA LLB course. For the Master’s degree or LLM course, the total seat intake is 20. The performance of the candidates in the CLAT exam is considered, and those candidates who have scored a minimum rank equal to the cut-off ranks mentioned above are called for counselling.

CLAT Counselling 2020

CLAT results are declared as an All India Rank for candidates who have appeared for the examination. The All India Rank decides the further process of admission. Candidates need to ensure that they have obtained minimum cut-off marks. Aspirants who have secured the minimum cut-off marks are then eligible to participate in centralized online counselling organized by the CLAT committee.

The candidates must specify their preferences in the counselling. The seats will be allotted based on the merit of the candidate and his/her preference. The aspirants must also deposit Rs 50,000 to reserve the allotted seat. The counselling will consist of a maximum of four rounds.

The following documents would be required for the CLAT Counselling 2023:

• CLAT scorecard
• CLAT Admit card
• Two passport-size photos
• A call letter is given by the CLAT authority
• Date of Birth certificate
• 12^th class certificate – original and copy
• Caste certificate, if applicable

For BA LLB admission, candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% in the Intermediate/Higher secondary school board (10+2). For SC/ST candidates, the minimum is 45%. For LLM aspirants, a minimum aggregate of 50% or equivalent grade in all papers in qualifying LLB.
