CLAT PG Eligibility Criteria 2024 Highlights

Prerequisites of CLAT PG Eligibility Criteria 2024

Educational qualification, minimum marks, and nationality are vital factors you should meet to be eligible for this prestigious examination.

Before proceeding with the Application Form, you must check whether you have met all the criteria set by the exam conducting body.

We have given these prerequisites of eligibility criteria for the CLAT PG program.

1 - Eligibility Criteria 2024 Educational Qualification

Candidates are either pursuing their final year or should have completed LLB graduation (3-year or 5-year integrated LLB) from any recognized institute by the Bar Council of India.

2 - Eligibility Criteria 2024 Qualifying exam 

All candidates must have a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying exam.

However, candidates from the SC and ST categories will be given 5% relaxation and can apply with 45% marks in graduation (qualifying exam).

Without qualifying marks, your candidature will likely be cancelled. Therefore, prepare thoroughly, referring to the best resources.

3 - Eligibility Criteria 2024 Upper age limit 

There is no upper age limit.

4 - Eligibility Criteria 2024 appearing in the qualifying exam 

Candidates in their final year of qualifying can also apply for the CLAT PG 2024 exam. 

Candidates appearing for their qualifying examination in April/ May 2024 are also eligible to apply.

Tie Breaker Rule:

In the case of a tie, the following procedure will be used to break the tie:

  • i. Higher age
  • ii. Computerized draw of lots
