The mission of the Central University of Kashmir (CUK) is to contribute to the educational, cultural, economic & social advancement of people providing high quality educational programs leading to Bachelors degrees and to address the cultural, economic, educational, environmental, health and social needs.

From the academic year 2022-23, admission to different courses at  CUK is solely based on Common Universities Entrance Test (CUET) scores.

Though the university provides admissions based on CUET scores, you should fulfill specific criteria set by the university to be eligible for the admission process.

CUK Eligibility Criteria after CUET 2022

Appearing for the NTA CUET Exam 2022 is the only channel for entering the Central University of Kashmir.

As the eligibility criteria vary for each program at the university, you must ensure that you are aware of the requirements of the particular course you are aiming at the university.

  • You must ensure that you understand the eligibility criteria, qualification/other conditions, and fulfill the minimum required subjects of the program.
  • You must select the language, domain-specific subjects, and general test as per the respective program.
  • Also, note that NTA will not be held responsible for selecting the subjects, opted program, or eligibility criteria/ conditions.

CUET Central University of Kashmir Eligibility Criteria 2022 for UG Programs

The eligibility criteria are categorized under two parameters: educational qualification and minimum qualifying marks. Only those who will satisfy both the criteria will get admission to Jharkhand University.

Before proceeding with the NTA CUET Application Form 2022, you must check whether you have satisfied the eligibility criteria prescribed by the university or not.

B.Voc in Retail and Logistic Management B.Voc in Retail and Logistic Management You must have completed class 12 in any stream from a recognized University with at least 50% marks or its equivalent grades of respective Boards/Universities (45% for OBC/SC/ST/PWD) categories.
B.Voc in Tourism and Hospitality Management B.Voc in Tourism and Hospitality Management You must have passed 10+2 in any stream from a recognized University with at least 50% marks or its equivalent grades of respective Boards/Universities (45% for OBC/SC/ST/PWD) categories.

No. There is no age limit to get admission to the Central University of Kashmir through the CUET exam. However, your minimum age should be above 18 years to be eligible for the admission process.
Yes. The university provides 5% relaxation in minimum qualifying marks for those belonging to SC/ST/PWD categories.
