Punjab Judiciary Result: Final Merit List 

The Punjab Judiciary civil judge merit list is released by the Punjab Public service Commission 2023 at the official website of the Punjab Public service Commission. 

Candidates must score minimum qualifying marks to be shortlisted in the Punjab Civil Judge merit list 2023.

The Punjab Public Service Commission prepares a merit list based on the following factors that are: -

  • Number of applicants who appeared for the exam
  • Number of vacancies
  • The difficulty level of the paper
  • Category of the candidate

Punjab Judiciary Result: Preliminary Examination 2023

  • As per the Punjab Judiciary syllabus, the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) conducts an objective test of 200 questions to shortlist the candidates. 
  • These 200 questions are of 1 mark each, and candidates will get 3 hours to attempt it. 
  • These 200 marks are further bifurcated into two parts, i.e., Part I is 50 marks, and Part II is of 150 marks.
  • The preliminary examination comprises 200 objective-type questions.
  • As per the Punjab Public Service Commission selection process, candidates scoring marks more than 60% are shortlisted and are eligible for the Mains exam.

  • The candidates who qualified in the preliminary examination can apply for this main exam. The Mains exam consists of 5 papers of 850 marks, and candidates will get 3 hours, i.e., 180 minutes, to attempt all five main examination papers.
  • The Mains examination comprises both subjective and objective type question exams.
  • The main examination consists of 5 papers. 
  1. The first paper is on the Present Day; the second is on Language.
  2. While the third paper is on Substantive Law, and the fourth paper is on Evidence and Procedure. 
  3. The fifth paper is on Revenue and Criminal.
  • After these five papers, the Punjab Public service commission (PPSC) will also conduct a practical examination of computer knowledge.
  • As per the official selection process, candidates scoring marks more than or equal to 60% are shortlisted for the personal interview round.
