Note: The Punjab Civil Services (Reservation of posts for women) Rules, 2020, issued by the Department of Social Security and Women & Child Development, also provides 33% reservation for women. Out of 159 seats, 55 are reserved for women.
The pay scale for a Punjab civil judge ranges from 27,700 INR to 44,770 INR. It also includes a dearness allowance, travel allowance, and other allowances authorized by the Punjab government. However, the pay scale is subject to change from time to time.
Note - Apart from Indian candidates, others must provide an eligibility certificate issued by the Government of Punjab in the Department of Home Affairs and Justice to obtain the appointment letter for the position.
